Neat Boutique hotel with Excellent Central Location

Sep 9th, 2018

We stayed here for some days with our family of 5. Enjoyed staying here, the apartment was clean and spacious, pretty recently renovated. Nice wide balcony to have breakfast at, and see the local life. The location is excellent, short walk to both beaches, everything near, especially the hotels own wine garden where we enjoyed some wine every night before dinner. Personnel was very kind and caring. Will come again & recommend! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect as a base

Oct 8th, 2017

We stayed here for a week. Fantastic weather. So many gorgeous beaches nearby and lovely restaurants in the town, Sophia's recommendations were good. We were greeted by Sophia who was most welcoming and promptly arrived (the reception is not manned and this is a sister hotel to Pal Beach) to let us know we had an upgrade to a bigger apartment. The apartment was great for us, clean enough, comfortable beds with nice white linen and nice pillows. Shower not very powerful but did the job. We didn't cook but made coffee each morning boiling water on the hob. Cooking facilities very limited so wouldn't recommend proper cooking! African grey parrot in kebab shop delighted us each morning, not early, with his repertoire. Hotel, more apartments, is very central and surprisingly quiet at night despite being next to all the activity! Balcony doesn't have a view as such but able to see some of life going by. Have rated 5 as for price had everything we could expect and we would happily return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent family run boutique hotel

Oct 21st, 2016

We only stayed here for one night but we made the right choice staying here. (If we had more time we would've stayed here much longer!) We're from a large urban city, Toronto, and have travelled worldwide on various budgets. We stayed in the 55euro room. We had stopped at a few nice looking resorts enquiring about sea view rooms. We only found side sea view and no view rooms in town that were clean but extremely basic for 60euros. The room at Polydoros had a side view of both sides of the peninsula! As it's in the middle of town where you're close to everything and close to a lovely pedestrian area with many open air restaurants. The hotel wine bar and garden were lovely! Our bed and room were extremely clean and luxurious! The bed was super comfortable with luscious bedding. Sofia runs the place perfectly! She gave us amazing tips of where to go in the area; beaches and restaurants! Very much appreciated, thank you Sofia! Sofia shared her father's saying with us that: "Once you swim in these waters, you'll be back." We'll be back we hope! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We spent 4 nights there with my husband. The hotel is in the middle of the city, everything is in a spitting distance. The room and the bathroom are nice, clean, they come to clean up every day. There are tableware in the kitchen (wineglasses, waterglasses, coffecups, plates for 2 person), and a pan and a saucepan, so you can make a spagetti if you want. The neighbourhood is a little bit noisy, but you can close the window and turn on the aircondition :-) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Spacious ,spotlessly clean modern rooms with ac.Only 2 years old.Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sheets.Any issues were sorted straight away. Perfectly sited in the middle of everything.2 minutes to either beach.Restaurants on your doorstep. Lovely peaceful sheltered wine bar where fine wines can be sampled from 5PM.Hotel not attended before this but you are given a key for free access. We did not find any problem with this.Staff could not be more helpful. If you are lucky to be there on a Monday night,Dimitri(a music aficionado) plays some fine Jazz tunes while you sample a lucious red wine from Chania, like NegroAmaro.
