Princess Garden Meguro
Jan 6th, 2020
The Hotel is in a convenient location in Tokyo for reaching Shibuya, Shinjuku and Shinagawa. It's at most a 5 minute walk to Meguro station which has everything needed from clothing to food. It has all the basic services and my room was a little larger than I expected having a US Twin size bed. The hotel was clean though a little older. Staff were helpful and the breakfast while modest was a good start to the day. Over all if you're looking for an inexpensive business hotel it meets the requirements and won't break the budget. I was fortunate that the room I was in had a clear view to Fuji on one of the mornings which was a pleasant surprise. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Small hotel in a quiet but convenient location ^_^

What you would be paying for in this hotel is the convenient location. The hotel is walking distance of Meguro Station. There are nearby convenience stores, supermarket, cafe, salon, and restaurants. The building interior of the hotel was quite dated but I did not mind this. Even the furniture were old and small. I suppose it gave a sense of Showa era nostalgia. The room was cramped but that is expected in Tokyo. I hope they replace the bed though because it was incredibly hard. No issues with in-room wifi. Overall, I had a peaceful stay here. Dated but convenient

This hotels proximity to the jr yamanatoe line is excellent. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. It is also close to meguro promenade. There is a Tokyo store just down the road and.a seven eleven Around the corner. It is a typical business style hotel with a very pretty garden. The only downside is, if your around six foot, the corridors are quite small. The rooms are simple and the free wifi is a bonus. It is a bit pricey for what it is, but it is so close to public transport, you can get there directly from the airport. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. More like a 1 star hotel!!

As someone who has been traveling for the past 2 months and has very low standards from staying in many hostels and budget hotels, I would still say that this is probably the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything about this hotel needed to be renovated. The furniture was old, the hallway carpets were STAINED and disgusting looking, the beds and pillows were ridiculously hard and the bed was squeaky, the door was hard to open with the key (an actual physical key and not a card), there are NO POWER OUTLETS NEAR THE BEDS which was RIDICULOUS, the elevator does NOT have any sensors and closed on my shoulder as I was walking in. The rooms are also wayyy smaller than they look on the photo. The hotel literally looked like an old haunted hotel honestly. The location is also pretty isolated and there is nothing to do around the hotel. I couldnt even stay there after the first night had to find other accommodations. Felt really scammed by hotwire and other sites which somehow claim it is a 4 star hotel in a good location. More like a 1 star hotel!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Clean and convenient for Meguro area

We stayed for 2 nights before going to a wedding at Meguro Gajoen. The staff and breakfast were great and location very convenient to the station. The room was huge by Japan standard hotel room sizes and comfortable but as with other reviewers comments could do with a renovation. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Meguro with big rooms this is your pick! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
