Full of charm and character

We stayed here in December on the recommendation of our daughter and were not disappointed. Hotel Prinsenhof is in an ideal location for exploring Bruges which is so picturesque. Everyone was friendly and helpful with great suggestions for places to eat. Great for a short break. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nothing but amazing things to say about this hotel

Could not be happier with this hotel. It's cosy and rustic, yet luxurious and stylish. Staff were absolutely wonderful, the receptionist even took us up to our room on arrival. Location spot on just around the corner from Markt Square yet tucked away from any noise. Bedroom was beautiful, comfortable and nice and clean. I think this hotel is excellent value for money and I will certainly be returning on my next visit to Bruges. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

As good as it gets. Don't stay anywhere else

We stayed for two nights and this hotel was simply amazing. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful with recommendations (and not just for food as we needed an emergency boot repair too). The hotel is on a quiet street and is right out of a story book. Very quiet, great sleep. Walkable location to everything. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fabulous little find!

We stayed at the lovely Hotel Prinsenhof in Bruges last week. A friend and I went for an overnight getaway and visit the Christmas Markets and enjoy the food and beer. We arrived early and the hotel were more than happy to look after our bags while we parked the car and went and had some lunch before checking in. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the warm Christmasy smell and beautiful decorations. The room was a good size, comfortable and immaculately clean. There was a coffee machine and mini fridge. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming advising us of where to go and what to do. Breakfast was lovely and we wanted for nothing, there was a cold buffet, pastries, bread and hot options. The tea and coffee were lovely. Again the breakfast room and common areas were immaculate. The hotel was reasonably priced and although only a 5 minute walk from the main square it was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a lovely stay. The only note I would say and this is nothing to do with the hotel, that is the Christmas markets, although very pretty and the food and drink very nice, were no different to any Christmas market we have been to, and we were a bit disappointed with the market. Other than that the food and drink, museums, buildings, walks and atmosphere in Bruges is lovely. I will return in the summer. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had a short break in Bruges and chose the Prinsenhof after seeing the brilliant Tripadvisor reviews - in short we agreed with the reviews and really enjoyed our stay. We had a first floor room at the front - with the giant flag outside. Reception was effortless and friendly. Our room was luxurious and spacious with a matching bathroom. The a/c was powerful yet unobtrusive. We had no noise from the quiet road at the front. Decor throughout the hotel was to a very elegant, high standard - excellent. Reception organised a local tour for us - a day out in the battlefields and graves ending with the last post at the Menin Gate. Breakfast was in a large, light and elegant dining room. The buffet style presentation and the food were both excellent with even a bottle of champagne for a little ‘lift’ in the morning - I enjoyed a glass with salmon, scrambled eggs and a few strawberries. Breakfast staff were busy and attentive. The hotel is in a quiet pedestrianised area within the historic area of the city which is perfect for strolling round. Watch out for bike lanes which aren’t always obvious ( just a different pattern of paving stones ).. Would I stay here again? Yes please. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
