My wife and I stayed one night on our visit to the city. We loved the balcony view of the lake and church, we also adored the cute little restaurant downstairs. It felt a bit like dining in a medieval castle. We will definitely stay again. Train station and old town walking distance was a big plus too. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Sadly we haven't had a chance to stay at the hotel Rebstock yet due to the coronavirus spread but we definitely will! We had a non refundable booking for 3 nights in July 2020 but had to postpone our trip and this wonderful hotel refunded the full amount with no hesitation! Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding! We will be most certainly staying this hotel as soon as this crisis clears and we are able to travel! See you in a few months hotel Rebstock! Decently priced hotel in Lucerne, only a minute walk from the lake.

Very good breakfast. Excellent friendly staff. Very clean rooms and facilities. Nice bar in the lobby and one next door on the street. Great location, within a minute's walk of the lake and easy to get public transportation outside the door. Room was very nicely setup and felt spacious. I was lucky to get a room with a small balcony that looked out to the lake and mountains. All the staff were super friendly and full of smiles. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Excellent location but overpriced

Hotel Rebstock made a mixed impression on me. First of all the entrance to the hotel and the restaurant is the same, the elevator is good for 2 persons and only stops at middle floors i.e. stairs must be used to reach the floor where the rooms are; no problem for me, I gave the elevator a miss but it will cause difficulties for persons with restricted mobility. The size of the room and bathroom with shower was sufficient. Floors are constructed with wood producing some noise when persons on the floor above walk around during bedtime. Breakfast was good with muesli, Swiss cheese and sausages, jam, fresh bread and beverages. The free WiFi was sufficiently fast; bedding was clean but a bit too soft for my liking. The heating did not work properly thus avoid room 128 when it is cold outside. The location is perfect, next to Hofkirche and river Reuss, and in walking distance to most attractions. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly, the same applies to the staff at the bar and at breakfast. My car was parked at a daily fee of 25 Swiss Franc. The hotel provides a free travel pass for the public transport within the city. Switzerland is expensive but I still think that Rebstock Hotel is overpriced, and in my opinion rather 3* than the claimed 4* hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great location and service

Easy walk to bus and train station so perfect for getting anywhere in the area. 14th century hotel so no central air. Not a problem during our 4 night stay. WiFi good. Complimentary hot breakfast was amazing. Attentive service and excellent selection of food. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. Delicious as well. Reception people helpful and friendly. Ask for a tea kettle and they will provide. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
