Best of the best!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Regina in March. We wish to extend our sincerest gratitude to hotel general manager Valentino Piazzi and his dedicated staff for ensuring our stay was wonderful. The level of customer service was impeccable, standard of services provided exceptional, and restaurant to he highest standard. Sadly we cut short our stay due to the pandemic. To Valentino’s credit, he provided all necessary assistance to help rearrange our travel itinerary, and make it safely back home. We look forward to returning to this wonderful venue, and continuing our Paris vacation in the near future. Stay safe dear friends - till we meet again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good location, average amenities, poor manners

Let's start with the great things about this hotel: location and front desk staff. The housekeeping is also decent. The rooms and the hotel in general are more like average than a 5-star hotel. Why did I say poor manners in the title? For many reasons but let me just give you an example: the hotel has a large, rotating, heavy door at the entrance. We return back to the hotel, my wife and I. She walks in first, pushing the heavy door with difficulty. I'm behind her, trying to help but need to wait a bit more until I can grab the rotating door. On the other side of the glass door, three male hotel employees (not one but three, all wearing the hotel uniform), a few feet away from the door, just staying there and checking out my wife but not one of them would bother stretching their anemic hands to help with the door. I almost wanted to punch them, but I'm glad I didn't because later during our visit we found out that is something quite common in Paris, good manners are not very popular there. Ok, about the rooms: please be sure to book a room with some view, preferably Eiffel Tower view. Otherwise you're wasting money and you'll be super bored. We got an Eiffel Tower suite and that was one of the few highlights of our stay. Otherwise, because of an unpleasant situation that happened to us at the bar in the hotel's lobby (read the review on Bar Anglais) we skipped on using the hotel's bar and restaurant, there are plenty of other good places to eat and drink nearby. Amazing hotel

Everything is great about this hotel! Very spacious room (Junior Suite) and the staff is just amazing ! Perfect location with great restaurants and shops nearby. Definitely one of my favorites in Paris ! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An excellent hotel in Paris

An excellent, classic hotel with an incredible lobby, a large room (for Paris) with an excellent view of the Tuileries Garden and Eiffel Tower. Relaxing sauna area was a splendid surprise. The hotel has the most kind, helpful service and concierge. Would definitely return to this hotel while in Paris TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, reasonable rooms, 90% of the staff r unqualified, terrible food .

When you pay more than 600-700 euros a night to stay at 5 * hotel, you expect at least the house keeping to be available 24/7, they leave at 10.30 pm, so if you need your room the be cleaned after that, Sorry 😐. The room service and the restaurant is just terrible, when you order a bloodyMary the hot sauce they use is pizza hot sauce with oil plus the celery is powder, and the vegetable soup they offer is just awful to the extent that you feel is an insult. No coffee machines even in suites, instant coffee is what they offer and not every day, not mentioning the mini bar’s f&b selection, terrible is the word, the staff working at the reception are semi professional and the door man is great, but all managers I spoke to didn’t have a clue of what they r doing, and their response was thank you for your feedback so we can improve, then I should stay for free if they need their clients to mentor them.
