Good location and staff

Oct 28th, 2019

This is an older hotel very well located for looking around Punta Arenas and the staff are super friendly and we received a nice welcome drink on arrival Our room was clean and tidy with a safe and good bed, no fridge or tea and coffee making facilities though. As we arrived quite late from Santiago we decided to eat in the restaurant, not a good idea as service was slow and the meal somewhat tasteless and under done; I would recommend using the other restaurants close by, of which there are plenty to choose from. We had a 0630 start on one morning and had asked if we could have a breakfast bag but were told no worries something would be left for us. What we found was some bread, cheese and ham and no hot water for drinks; the night porter was a star and boiled the kettle so we could have tea and some instant coffee and at least get ready for our long day out. Stay away - Service at its poorest

Oct 3rd, 2019

With my 10 member crew for the purposes of shooting my show Celebrity Travel, I had the misfortune of staying at Rey Don Felipe Hotel in Punta Rena, Chile. My crew and I occupied approx 8 rooms and even though our requests were kept to a minimum we encountered several problems a few of which are as follows: the showers flood when you try to take a shower, one of the team members cut his foot at the edge of the shower, the bathrooms are really old and poorly maintained (and thus the injury!!!!!), room service is simply non-existent and the laundry service returned our clothes rinkled and in an untidy bundle!! Even so, one of the shirts of a high end brand was shrinked and the coordination, organization and assistance of the hotel management was n o n e. Very disappointing, very bad service. First hotel of our three week trip to Chile

Jul 29th, 2019

A small, quiet hotel that is well situated for access to the town. Our room was comfortable with a smallish bathroom. The restaurant was lovely and the food great - pumpkin soup served in an edible bowl!! Breakfast was plentiful with very good choice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hotel with great staff

May 14th, 2019

My daughter and I stayed for one night on our way to Torres del Paine National Park. The hotel was quiet and we seemed to be one of the only guests, which was great. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing, as was the service and care. I would come back in a heartbeat. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful hotel

May 5th, 2019

We stayed here our last night in Chile and I'm so glad we did. It was nice to be pampered after being on the road for a couple of weeks exploring Patagonia. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable with lots of ammenities. This hotel is also located it a quiet part of town so we were able to get a good night sleep. We would definitely stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
