Just returned from two weeks stay in fact the first weeks the hotel and island opened for this years season, another very good holiday and well looked after by the staff. The lady manager for many years as transferred to another Riu, and the young lady who was her assistant for last two years is the one overseeing things and doing a good job. The main change we think is the separate sittings for evening dinner are gone and dinning is open between 18:30 and 21:30 with no set table, tables seem closer together. One only gets the line of welcome from the staff if arriving at 18:30 which we did along with the other regulars and we had no problem sitting in the same area of the restaurant we all usually have done. The other change is the bedroom front balcony wall as been removed and replaced with a plain glass panel, so care to be taken to be decently dressed when putting towels on the rack to dry :-) Another great holiday was had and many thanks to all staff of all ranks. Not quite what we expected

A nice hotel, good food and some lovely touches but just such a disappointment after our last stay in a Riu hotel (Tres Islas in Fuerteventura). I think the problem was that our visit was during the final week before the hotel closed for the winter and day by day standards declined - too many individual things to list here but tables weren't set or cleared, the wine cellar wasn't replenished so you had to make do with what was left but still pay full price for it. On our last day clients had taken coffee cups down to the pool at breakfast and they were still there in the evening - the staff just weren't interested. We wouldn't stay here again but would consider other Riu hotels TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great service from all staff again and a really enjoyable holiday, now making plans for return in 2019. Went with Tui this time but so disappointed with them will book direct for 2019, particulary their rep. who will only look after Tui customers from mainland Europe, Tui customers have to phone a 24/7 UK number. UK Tui failed to advise us of return pick up times. Restaurant had plenty of choices and good food and linen table cloths which many hotels do not have these days. Thank you Riu la Mola. Can’t fault it!

Myself and my husband arrived past midnight for check in and were kindly welcomed at reception with extremely helpful staff that continued to be on hand during our entire stay. Arriving so late we were delighted to be informed the chef had prepared a cold dinner for our arrival which was unexpected but well received. We stayed for 10 days in August half board (which I would recommend) and the food, although buffet style can sometimes be a little naff was anything but that! We were allocated the same table for the duration and so attended by the same waiter each night. The food was unbelievable and we didn’t eat the same dish twice for the entire duration. The selection and choice of food was incredible and everything home made and fresh with worldly dishes each night. The hotel is well located on the south of the island on a quiet area of beautiful white sandy beaches. You can walk along the beach that will bring you to a few beach bars dotted along the front and also some amazing views and areas of secluded beaches and some wonderful sunsets. We stayed in one of the hotels private bungalows which was cleaned daily and very well decorated and equipped. It gave us a sense of being in our own private apartment but with the perks of all the hotel amenities, perfect! The hotel has a gym, spa, souvenir shop and 2 pools, one very quiet and tucked away and the other on the beach front which can get busy. Very annoyingly guests seem to have got into bad habits of putting their towels on the sunbeds by the pool and beach the night before, I couldn’t believe my eyes! So get a sunbed early! The main pool is situated on the beach.....so there is a great choice of places to sit and relax. There are pool side games and activities that go on daily, something for everyone including beach volleyball twice day! Or equally you do not have to get involved at all. The entertainment staff there do an amazing job!!!!! There is a delightful roof top bar which is great for after dinner drinks and the evening entertainment is good fun for all! The same staff that entertain during the day do the evening shows too, incredibly hard working and talented staff! Well done! During the day there are a couple of restaurants to choose from and the waiters there are equally friendly and helpful especially Jonny. The hotel is situated in a quiet but beautiful area. There is a moped rental on site which I would recommend so you get to see the island. Slightly more expensive than the port rental but convenient. There is a small supermarket 5 mins walk from the hotel and water sports activity centre next to the hotel. You can also buy ferry tickets to and from Ibiza from the reception too which are cheaper than buying at the port. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend it and will be returning! From our first day at the hotel the first impression was outstanding. We could write a lengthy report highlighting each of the elements that we came across which have been of a great standard. The hotel staff made us feel welcome and that effort came across wholehearted and genuine, without being part of a “job description”. Hotel facilites are great, the setup and operations are seamless and offer guests a relaxed stay. There are various clubs and activities for all family. We were not impressed by the beach in front of the hotel but there is plenty of choice around. Charging guest for umbrellas and sun-beds isn't great and being a public beach is understandable but there ways around it. This could be improved. the food is stunning with plenty of choice in the principle restaurant. The Sunset restaurant could be improved in terms of menu, quality of food, etc. Overall it would be a 4.5/5 for us. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
