Not at all what it seems

Feb 20th, 2020

This is what the manager Said says " there are no Stars to this hotel and the beds are not Queen size" we found the hotel not to be what it was described as - there is no fridge, no a/c, heating is set by the manger only in the evenings, brown towels and a terrible alley reception led by a very stained and dirty carpet. We did not stay the night and we found there were plenty of other hotels in this area. The location is excellent but the Hotel is mis managed and the pictures do not reveal its true state. It is old and worn out. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Location, location, location!

Dec 26th, 2019

My partner and I stayed here a few nights whilst on a Christmas trip to Brussels. The hotel could not have been in a better location. Our room looked over Grand Place and it was magical to open the windows and watch the spectacular light show every evening. The room was basic in decor but a good size, spotlessly clean and benefitted from under floor heating. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also a decent size with a good power shower. Breakfast was in La Brouette across the square and was very good. We had tea/coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, toast, pastries, and omelette with cheese and ham brought to the table every morning. I could not write this review without a special mention to the fabulous staff at Residence Le Quinze, in particular Said and Lauir who were the most extremely welcoming, kind and helpful guys. They really could not do enough to help you and were extremely knowledgeable about the local area. Thank you Said and Lauir! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would, without a doubt, stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent location seals the deal

Dec 9th, 2019

We visited Brussels for the Christmas markets and Le Quinze is perfectly situated to watch the light show in Grand Place every evening. Although only a very small hotel (you have your breakfast across the square at Bistro Brouette - excellent too!) our room was very comfortable. We were on the top floor at the back of the hotel so our room was very very quiet - however the chap on reception gave us access to one of the rooms at the front to watch the light show one evening and the view really was magical. Both of the chaps on reception were very friendly and helpful - we were allowed into our room after arriving early at 9.30 and reception closes after 7pm. To sum up Le Quinze its no frills, but clean, comfortable and perfectly positioned for your trip to Brussels TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Small hotel on the grand place

Jul 21st, 2019

This is a small (12 rooms) hotel right on the Grand-Place in Brussels. The rooms are large (if simply appointed) by European standards and quite comfortable. I had a great view of everything. The staff were kind and pleasant and very helpful. There is an elevator but still a number of steps for folks for whom that causes difficulties. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great view of Grand Square but hotel was really old.

Jul 15th, 2019

No air conditioning. No screens on windows so flies came into the room. Very spartan furnishings. Had a desk but no dresser or any place else to put clothes. Had to live out of suitcase. The view of the square was great; however, it was very, very noisy. The square is almost always active with people and they are very noisy. Because it was warm we had to have the window open. This allowed flies and noise into the room. And people were noisy ALL night. This was a great location for walking around and sightseeing; but lousy if you wanted any sleep. Better to rent a room in a more modern hotel away from the square. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
