The ultimate, luxurious destination in Vienna

Feb 19th, 2020

We have visited the Sacher before to sample their chocolate and their coffee, and my wife and I said that next time we are in Vienna, we will stay at the Sacher. Well, we were not disappointed. The hotel is pure luxury in every possible way. As soon as you approach the hotel, are greeted outside and have your suitcases taken away, you know you are in for a treat. Check-in was a breeze, and we were shown around the hotel, then up to our very big room. We were lucky to have a view of the Opera House, through the big windows. The room was huge, with a bathroom with separate toilet/shower, which were of a good size, lots of marble and mirrors everywhere, with the chocolate soaps and creams proudly on display! The bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in. You lay down and you are enveloped in pure luxury! The room was spotlessly clean and no attention to detail was spared. The hotel is beautiful, lots of different places to chill or eat or drink, but the highlight for us was the staff. Every person we passed would either stop to open doors or wave a hello, or asked how we were getting on. Very, very attentive in every way. We had dinner at the Rote bar, which is a very intimate dining experience, and the food was delicious. There is a spa upstairs too, with various steam rooms and chill areas, again, beautifully maintained. Breakfast is just exquisite. There is no other word for it! There is a huge choice of cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, breads, fruit, drinks and even cakes. There is of course, a hot bar, so you can order a cooked breakfast while you are enjoying your fresh pastries and coffee. The only regret we had, we were booked on an early flight out the next morning, and we don't feel we had enough time to fully enjoy the hotel, but next time we will plan better. Thank you everyone at the Sacher G and C TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Feb 17th, 2020

Walking through Vienna, we stumbled across this beautiful venue. The hotel Sacher is clean and elegant. Sacher excellent and delicious. The courteous and elegant staff. The price of the Sacher cake is € 7.90. It is worth it. I highly recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing chocolate, horrible service

Feb 10th, 2020

The small hotel was rather difficult to navigate but the immediate service past line into the attached famous sacher restaurant was nice. However, the front desk needs some serious work! I was treated VERY rudely not once but THREE times! We arrived late evening and it took the man 45 minutes to figure out how to check us in when all I wanted was to just go to sleep.. The following day I was out touring the city and upon returning the front doorman would not let me in saying it was for guests only. I am a polished female accustomed to high end service. I told him twice that I was a guest at the hotel and until the front desk person that recognized me from that morning saw what was happening and had the man let me in I was betting humiliated and extremely irritated. I couldn’t believe that would happen. The third time was from the housekeeping helpers acting very short and rushed with my request for more water bottles and assistance with storing luggage. Will not be returning! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wein's Ultimate Luxury Destination

Feb 9th, 2020

Sacher Hotel is the kind of hotel that ticks every possible box on any luxury traveler list but the real Jewel of this legendary property is it's people .... The staff in this hotel are some of the friendliest , most helpful and most caring you will ever deal with ... From the welcoming and highly helpful door men to the amazing reception and concierge staff who by the way have the ability to arrange for your next trip to Mars if that's what you please ... They will gladly go the extra mile for the customers satiafation .... They really made our stay worth every minute and every penny. Sacher is the kind of luxury hotels where you'll find a menu for pillows and a famous torte named after the hotel name ... Actually an entire Cafe where people from all over the world come to visit and enjoy the different delights they have on offer. Now I can mention the more obvious points, where the hotel is centrally located in the commercial district of downtown wein where you will find all shopping attractions and can just have a short stroll to the St Stephen's cathedral and other adjacent key touristic attractions. The hotel interior is a combination of old viennese imperial heritge and ultra modern European finish that you can find in those ultra white high quality italian marbles covering floors, walls and ceilings wherever you go ... And the chandeliers are simply stunning and deserve to be viewed on their own even if you are not staying in that hotel. Their food is also great ...breakfast was simply legendary as is their restuarents onsite and their famous luxury spa where they use the finest chocolates for treatments. If you are looking for that flawless luxury service delivery and that level of comfort you are expecting from very high end luxury hotels than this hotel is your only sure choice in Wein. Exceptional☆☆☆☆☆ Hotel But Very Friendly & Warm Hearted !!

Feb 9th, 2020

Quite sometimes I have encountered situations that my family name starting from "H" is not called, told or announced correctly, even by my fellow Japenese. It was really surprising that I was always correctly called by all staff of Hotel Sacher Wien, including reception, concierge, culinary services and house keeper, etc. I traveled countries more than 50 for business or private and stayed with many hotels so called ☆☆☆☆☆, this is first time for rating personally as "EXCEPTIONAL". Professional services by Concierge impressed me so much. Certainly, there seems to exsit that some hardwears should be renovated, including "WASHLET" (specific product name of TOTO Ltd.), humanware with very warm haert and professional services made up such hardwear issues. However, there was only one thing that I felt sorry that not few "KOALA" bears wearing biscuits and cholate, which should have been presented to kids in St. Anton am Arlberg, were melted in mouth of cool beauties of the reception desk and I wish to express my appreciation. I keep my fingers crossed for success in studying "HUMAN RESORCES" or new challenge at the place of "SOUND OF MUSIC" of the staff of Hotel Sacher Wien. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
