Love this quaint hotel

Aug 29th, 2020

Price is reasonable and usually includes an excellent breakfast, not for our last two visits though because the grill is closed due to Covid. Sorely missed, it’s a wonderful meal. The rooms are comfortable & spacious. Every room has a ceiling fan and ac, comfortable bed linens, clean bathrooms and flat screen TVs. The elevator is so cool, it’s a gate and door set up, so old fashioned and quaint. The employees are helpful and so welcoming! We always stay here when in Prescott. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great historic hotel

Aug 28th, 2020

Everything was great - location is nearby everything in historic Prescott (no drinking & driving!); the room itself was clean & comfortable; hotel staff was very helpful, professional & friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here & would highly recommend this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Neat Vintage Old West Hotel

Aug 20th, 2020

We paid $40 extra for the street view or courthouse view and if you're a people watcher, it's worth it. Just looking out over the idealistic treed park is worth it. The beds are comfy, the bathroom is a little tight but modern. Keep in mind, this is a vintage old west hotel: The rooms are not going to be super large, the floor squeaks a bit when walking on it (but I never heard anything from the floor above) and there are no refrigerators (at least not in our room). Still, if you value history and authenticity, then this is welcome. If you value complete modern facilities, then you oughta go to Holiday Inn Express. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Dusty

Jul 25th, 2020

The room looked clean, but there was a layer of dust over everything. Very tiny room and bathroom,, but does give off the vibe of what it was like in the olden days. The window opened up with no lock or screen, which was actually kind of cool. We could have climbed out onto the fire escape and sat if it hadn't of been raining. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A hotel with a roadside motel feel.....

Jun 21st, 2020

On a positive note..... the check in process was really easy, with very helpful and professional staff, the location can’t be beat, and the linens appear to be clean. But... I have no idea how this place gets so many great reviews. The room immediately smells like an old shoe when you walk in, the bathroom is very worn, the towels were getting thin, and there is thick dust on the ceiling fan. There is only one lock on the door (at least it’s the deadbolt) but it sticks and you really need to press on the door to make it work. The killer is that I paid $178 including taxes to stay here! It would be great if the owners of this historic hotel would give it the TLC it deserves. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
