Excellent location, value and staff

We loved this 100+ year old hotel and European elevator. The street parking was easy and free. There's also a free parking lot behind the hotel. Don't compare this place with the amenities of a 5-Star Hotel, but what it lacks in these pricier places, it more than makes up with its charm and welcoming staff. The location is perfect for walking to the shops, restaurants and bars along Whiskey Row. Our room was quiet, small, very clean and no problem sleeping on the comfy bed. We didn't need a pool or gym, so those were not missed. We were, however, disappointed that the restaurant was closed, due to Covid 19. The front desk staff could not have been nicer. Being from the Chicagoland area, it will be awhile until our next trip to Prescott. We'll definitely book the Hotel St. Michael, whenever we return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
great location in downtown Prescott

Hotel St Michael is a historic hotel, so in room amenities are not there for modern travelers. Rooms are small, bathroom smaller. But the location is great for visiting old town Prescott. This is definitely the place to get a room if you are going for the Holiday lights and parade at old Prescott Courthouse. Free parking available in a public garage behind the hotel. Hotel is located right on Whiskey Row, so weekend nights can get a little rowdy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Vintage Hotel in the Heart of Downtown Prescott
Oct 6th, 2020
I really liked this hotel. It is an old timer hotel built 100 years ago. It is definitely vintage but nice and tasteful. It’s not a 4-star hotel and isn’t trying to be. The clerks were super friendly and helpful. We got a room on the 3rd floor look out over the town square...basically facing Whiskey Row. Keep in mind this is an old property. The rooms are a little smaller with tiny bathrooms, but that’s part of what gives this hotel a vintage feel and makes it fun and cozy. Navigating out bathroom was an adventure and not ideal for two people at the same time, but we didn’t mind. I’ve been told told rooms facing Whiskey Row are loud due to street noise. We stayed on a Saturday night and we didn’t have an issue with noise. For the price and location, I would definitely stay here again. I really liked it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Love this quaint hotel

Price is reasonable and usually includes an excellent breakfast, not for our last two visits though because the grill is closed due to Covid. Sorely missed, it’s a wonderful meal. The rooms are comfortable & spacious. Every room has a ceiling fan and ac, comfortable bed linens, clean bathrooms and flat screen TVs. The elevator is so cool, it’s a gate and door set up, so old fashioned and quaint. The employees are helpful and so welcoming! We always stay here when in Prescott. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great historic hotel

Everything was great - location is nearby everything in historic Prescott (no drinking & driving!); the room itself was clean & comfortable; hotel staff was very helpful, professional & friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here & would highly recommend this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
