What was good: The tables and seats were kind of handcrafted. The view was good. Although some other buildings and roofs were still higher than the terasse, it was still a decent view. Rest: Drinks were watered down, no alcohol In them, waiters took forever Average age of guests: 16 In case you’re looking for that, come here TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, great value

Jun 24th, 2017

I don't know of many hotels that are in a city centre and such good value for money. We paid about £20 each per night and this included breakfast. Situated opposite a beautiful monastery, this simple hotel is well located for exploring Grenada city. The room was clean and adequate. Staff really helpful and polite. Breakfast, interesting - I had tomato pate on toast (saw others eating it so thought I would give it a try). Wonderful terrace on the roof overlooking the monastery - great for a relaxing evening drink after a day of sightseeing. Couple of small supermarkets nearby for provisions. Parking available in the car park adjacent- cost about 14 euros per 24 hours providing you inform the hotel as they arrange the discount (normally about 100 euros per 24 hours). Decent for the price, but lots of negatives.

Oct 4th, 2016

The place has been renamed recently and the staff try very hard but the presence of a loud balcony upstairs makes this difficult to recommend for family travel. For younger couples or singles it maybe ok as the view and terrace bar were lovely, but the noise of moving furniture and music most of the night was irritating. The rooms themselves were average, a little dated but serviceable and clean. The location is pretty good, but not ideal if there are mobility issues as it's quite a long walk to Al Hambra. We took this as an opportunity to see other spots such as the monastery. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awful room - did not sleep at all!

May 5th, 2016

Do not book here. We made a terrible mistake of choosing this hotel because of its location. Next time I would choose somewhere in sacramonte. The room was tiny and overlooked a street with a bar across the road- party went on till 7 am! The hotel reception did not warn us about that. We had prank calls made to our room / not sure by whom. It wasn't funny. Neither was the hammering on the walls next door. Breakfast was a sore deal. One coffee per person, cereal and toast. Pathetic TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
