Overview

Recent guests loved this boutique property with "beautiful" gardens
Some rooms don't have windows

Family owned and operated, Hotel Torres del Fuerte is located within a 400-year-old home that was remodeled into a hotel in 2006. The property is surrounded by gardens that are dotted with sculptures and ponds, which recent guests said provide a "beautiful" and "tranquil setting." The 25 guest rooms are all individually decorated, and feature vibrantly colored walls, ornate furnishings and bathrooms with local river rock shavings, though several guests pointed out that some of the accommodations don't have windows, which can leave rooms feeling a bit dark. A highlight of the property is the restaurant, Bonifacio's Gourmet Restaurant, which serves an eclectic menu of Mexican cuisine in an ancient chapel that was built by Jesuits centuries ago. Guests also have the option of dining on the attached garden terrace, which is ideal for a romantic evening. You can find the Hotel Torres del Fuerte in the historic section of El Fuerte, a city in Sinaloa about 114 miles southwest of Alamos Airport in western Mexico.
