Charming room; fantastic location.

Front desk ladies were very nice; helped us out a lot with dinner suggestions & clubs in the area. We had a one-bedroom lockout, very nicely equipped. Looked to be recently renovated, especially the bathroom. Our bedroom was on the third floor facing the street, but there wasn't enough noise below to bother us at night. Definitely would stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Central Location!
Jan 4th, 2020
Hotel de L'eau Vive is just steps from Harrah's and sits just between Poydras and Canal. It's an easy walk to the arts district, museums, French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The hotel itself is in need of updating, but the room was very clean. We had a 3 bedroom (queen beds), 2 bath with a kitchen. There were TVs in the bedrooms and the living area. The water pressure was great and we never ran out of hot water. The room included a 12 cup coffee pot with filters, but bring your on coffee and fixings. It's very plainly decorated, but comfortable. The size and location make this a great stay, but a decorative remodel would definitely boost this to 5 stars! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Close to the street cars and a short walk to everything else. It's a quirky place. The shower in the single bathroom apts is inside a large concrete hot tub. Not the best choice for older travelers. The employees are top notch and very helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Convenient location and friendly staff
Dec 3rd, 2019
Stayed here for a week on an Interval exchange and got a two-bedroomed apartment that was spacious and well equipped. It is in an old building but has been tastefully refurbished. There is a roof terrace with tables and a few loungers that was lovely to sit on in late afternoon. Its about a 15 minute walk to the end of Royal Street - the start of The French Quarter - and the location is close to Canal Street where all the trams stop. The location is quiet and convenient as a base to explore the city. Staff were friendly and helpful and free coffee and croissants are provided in reception at breakfast time on a weekend. The only slight niggle was that the 'maid service' - which admittedly they said was limited - was actually limited to taking out the rubbish, No bed making or even wiping down the kitchen benches. Would go back there though. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nola Vacation Property

We had a very good time in Nola, but I would suggest waiting until later next year until they get their next remodel completed. Had some problems with low water pressure and slow drains on the sinks. One unexpected bonus, the Halloween parade went right past the front door. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
