Expensive, but worth it
Aug 26th, 2020
We have spent 2 months on the Côte d’Azur going from town to town, enjoying the re-awakening of the riviera after the lockdown. During this period, we have seen around 20 of the best hotels in the Provence-Alpes-Côte. The Hotel de Paris in Monaco is really something. From the cars out front, to the newly renovated rooms, everything is top-of-the-line. It was the most expensive hotel in our trip (i guess around twice as much as the others), but boy, it was worth it. They provided us with an upgrade to a “partial sea view” room, bright, spacious, newly renovated. The staff were genuinely friendly. Our only grudge: the restaurant “The Grill” is not worth a star. It is a perfectly fine place to go for lunch or dinner, with perfectly acceptable food, but not Michelin-star-worthy in my view. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Spectacular luxurious hotel in the best location!

This is a beautiful hotel located right next to the Monte-Carlo casino square. The room was luxurious with a balcony with views of the bay and sea. There was a separate bathroom and toilet room, the toilet has a heated seat with remote control functions for washing and drying! My 7 year old was very impressed! There is a rooftop pool however children are not allowed to use this. There is a separate family area in the basement with a pool which was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter. Breakfast was served on the side terrace on the ground floor with views of the square and is buffet style with a selection of menu items. Due to covid you must wear your mask inside the hotel, so you had to wear this to go and collect your breakfast buffet items and then remove it again when you come back outside. There was a beautiful live music band playing in the bar area most nights and it’s suitable for families. Overall a lovely hotel and I will definitely be returning! Very happy with my stay here. An offensively bad hotel
Jul 28th, 2020
An embarrassingly poor experience. In this hotel, they will charge you petty sums for things like the use of deck chairs by the pool. Far from an inclusive experience and far from a relaxing time. Supposedly one of the best hotels in Monaco, unfortunately, the management doesn't understand the first thing about customer service. At the Hotel de Paris, "to sit" is extra. Not to mention serious sewerage problems. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I’d say one of the top 5 in the world. Absolutely not a single flaw. The roof pool is by all means a must. Rooms are in excellent shape due to recent renovations. Breakfast is just OK, but probably because COVID measures. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
