Hosting biker conventions at the cost of hotel guests

Oct 10th, 2020

They had a biker convention here that the Marriot hosted, horrible experience. Loud revving sounds all day all night, constantly waking up my son. They were riding in hordes in the streets breaking traffic laws left and right and one nearly ran into me as he ran a red light. They had cops tied up all night chasing these airheads instead of tending to real emergencies. Cops were called to hotel multiple times wasting their time on these jokers. I am not against biker conventions, but the Marriot should not be hosting them in a family friendly hotel. Needless to say, I will no longer be staying at the Marriot. They have no problem inconveniencing their hotel guests to make a few dollars on the side, sad. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Battery Charger Needed - Ugh

Sep 26th, 2020

This is perhaps the most dreary, un emotional Marriott propery I've ever stayed in. As the title states, this hotel needs energy! From the moment you step into this giant attrium hotel, the life is sucked out of you. I get the Covid has dramatically curtailed occupancy, but ownership would be better shutting this place down than keep it open in this condition. From the dimmed or just off lighting, to the reduced food service and hotel amenities, to the soiled carpet and stained room ceilings, this property is just depressing. On the other hand, I was able to get a shoe shine from the wonderfully patient attendednt who stands there alone 5 nights a week. Odd that you can get a shoe shine, but can't get food at lunchtime. Oh well, I'm sure management has a plan. I won't be back to this pillar of despair. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Most pleasant visit to this property.

Sep 17th, 2020

During these difficult times, what a pleasure it was to have Noreen and Raven, at the front desk, making me feel welcome and appreciated and accommodating me in every way possible. Also, I did not catch his name, but the bartender at the lounge was super nice and friendly. It was obvious that these three people are not going to let a global pandemic affect the level of their service. We will be back to this property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Too loud!!

Feb 15th, 2020

I've stayed at this hotel for years in February for an annual event. Recently it has undergone renovations. The closet is now small and other than the bedside tables, there is one drawer under the safe. We were in Room 1005 on the conciege floor (although the loyalty luge is now downstairs). This room has a window to the atrium. The noise on the 10th floor coming up from the bar and lobby is very loud. One evening the noise went on until after 1 AM, with no help from security, even with complaints from a number of guests. It's a shame. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Typical convention hotel

Feb 2nd, 2020

Stay while visiting in the area. Large lobby, health club needs work with old sub par equipment. Restaurant and bar above average. Staff helpful and accommodating. Rooms large and reasonably quiet. Ample free parking Weekend rates were great. It’s not a Ritz but great value and location. Will return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
