Disgusting/old/nasty/mold- not worth it

Feb 19th, 2020

Booked this hotel and upon arrival was disappointed. The hotel lobby is old and run down, see photo of disgusting couch. The hallway carpets needs replacing, the room is nasty, bugs on window sill, water stains on ceiling, duct tape on the bathroom door, and the list goes on. No elevator. The pool area roof was leaking from condensation and moldy, with extremely high scent of chorine. I checked out - lost my money and booked elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere and do not take your family here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Old, nasty dated

Feb 19th, 2020

This was one of the worse experience ever. This hotel is old dirty and dated. Myself and few others booked this hotel for the Saturday nite. We all Checked ourself out and lost our money. The pool area was from another planet. My room had ants and bugs. Water leak was all over the ceiling. The furniture in the lobby was old and rip. It’s was cover with carpet. The list goes on and on. Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Clean rooms, Inexpensive per night - go to the HOJO website for the cheapest rates Cons: Entire hotel is in need of general maintenance, room curtains were ripped, room smelled like smoke but it was a non-smoking room, wifi is a joke, breakfast was only 2 cereals and bread/bagels TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Last minute

Feb 5th, 2020

We made last minute plans to come to the mountains the same week. We found this hotel at a great price so I booked it. Once my wife checked the reviews she was very skeptical on staying. Overall tho I can say it was a good nights stay. Yes the place is outdated but our room was very clean and had no bad smell. The restaurant was very poorly lit but the food was awesome. Probably one of the best meals I have had in a while. The morning we left breakfast could have been more to desire... bread cereal and bagels... that was it. So unless that is what you like I suggest you plan on somewhere else for breakfast. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ok for price

Okay stay for our night, Pool was nice and enjoyed our swim. The bar and dining room are closed on Tuesday so be sure you ask before you check in for this night as they dont tell you in advance. They do have a limited menu for take out, delivery which we were able to us . The staff was nice and friendly. Our stay was quiet and nice. The toilet was not bolted to the floor so it moved each time we sat on it, the one side needed a bolt. The shower had good pressure an d the room was clean. I have stayed here before, Its just an okay place anf close to all your needs in Tannersville/ camelback without the big prices. There is a great Mt Pocono Pub across the street that has wonderful food an ddrinks, friendly and fun bar to go to that we visit each time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
