Most of the airport area hotels/motels I stay at are Hampton, La Quinta, Holiday Inn Express, etc...all at $100+ per night. This HoJo is not at the level, but it is a nice step in between those and the budget (Motel6, Super8, etc). Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, but room was nicely appointed and contemproary. Fire alarm started beeping, called front desk, and they came by to fix immediately. My only issue was my room was not made up on the second day. When I told the manager, he said the maids did not show up that day. I was disappointed - there were so few people there, the manager/supervisor could have at least replaced linnens and emptied the trash. Overall, I would stay again. A quiet location (especially compared to LaQuinta). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

First they sold us a room where the sink was plugged up with water with a plunger still in it and the room smelled horrible. The room was not even clean. They gave us an upgraded room the was not any better.. only some of the outlets worked in the room and the hair dryer didn't even work. The breakfast was not sanitary at all!!! You don't put a knife in a jar of peanut butter and have every guest use it. Yuck! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great location and helpful staff.

The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. I g to Wichita about once a month for work. Because I work in government, I like to stay at less expensive hotels. This hotel is an excellent value! The service far exceeds the price TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
WHAT'S THE POINT OF PROPERTY MANAGER IF YOU DON'T GET TO TALK TO THEM!

Check in and check out was a struggle as no one could seem to figure out the extended stay. The ONLY reason I continued to stay at this hotel is most of the other hotels were booked as I am 6 to 10 weeks out here. House keeping was AWFUL and never replaced my towels until HOURS later. Overall stay was a nightmare. Price was NEVER the same ANY GIVEN WEEK..... And when calling the manager I was always forced to speak to the front desk manager, NEVER am I allowed to speak to the property manager. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is my second time staying at a HoJo, and I think I'll cross the chain off my list. Nothing was terrible, but even for the (low) price, they could do better. Check in was very slow. Room very dark. Breakfast scanty. Bed too soft. On the positive side, the room seemed clean enough. There is a guest laundry, but it's expensive. Ironing board in the room. If you're on a budget, it will do. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
