Wish I was at Hotel Emile right now

Oct 6th, 2020

I am staring at my Paris photos from South Africa remembering our holiday last year. I wish I were there in our beautiful room on the top floor. Even though our balcony was tiny we had the most exquisite view of Paris. I felt very French as I sat perched on my seat surveying the views, watching the people below me and breathing in the spirit of Paris. If you want a small hotel without that bland feeling of corporate monsters, this is for you. It is tucked away in my favourite arrondissement, Marais, the rooms are quirky and delightful and most importantly, spotless. I cannot wait to return to our little piece of Parisien heaven...mask and all. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Before COVID 19

Oct 1st, 2020

I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Paris in the 1990s. I continued to stay there every year until 2005, when I stopped traveling to Europe for a few years. In 2018 I returned to Paris and Hotel Emile under its new ownership. They had really done a lot to spruce up the hotel even before COVID 19. My husband and I love this hotel because of its great location. The metro is just across the street. There is a great cafe downstairs on the corner and a grocery store, pastry shop, boulangerie, fromagerie, librarie, etc. all within less than a 10 min walk. It is on the edge of the Marais, the best place in Paris for night time wanderings, in my opinion. And best of all, the hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a real warmth and family feeling at the hotel. I wouldn't change Hotel Emile for the Hotel Charles V! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I love this place. Seriously.

Of all the places I’ve stayed in Paris, hotel Emile is my favorite so far. I dunno. I just really like it there. Everyone’s nice, it’s clean, it’s not insanely priced. Paris can be a bit overwhelming so When I go there i want to stay somewhere that feels familiar and dependable that’s not far from the things I need to do. I recently stayed in Belleville on a trip and it felt a little to far from center. Also, the first time I stayed at Emile I bumped into breanne of Tarth in the staircase! She’s really tall and striking looking irl. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cozy, chic and great location!

Location was worthy, hotel room was very pretty and clean. I would only suggest adding more variety on breakfast because if you stay for 4 nights you can't eat the same thing every day. Would recommend Hotel Emile, and I would go again :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location and clean hotel

Mar 13th, 2020

My Partner & I have just come back from a 2 night stay here and we were happy with the hotel in general. The staff were helpful & pretty much always on hand. We didn't really need help though from staff as we had most things booked & planned. Our room ( 52 ) was clean and a decent size. The only things we would have liked is tea/ coffee facilities in the room. Also if you're travelling with a friend or family member beware the shower isn't private as it has a clear glass screen but of course fine for couples. The breakfast is perfectly fine, bread, jams, marmalades, honey, orange juice and lovely croissants, all you need really to start the day. We had 2 great nights sleep and found the location perfect for your mini break. Many shops & sights are a short walk away and St Paul metro is very near too. We had a great stay all in all.
