Great Experience! Great Staff! Charming Place!

Aug 20th, 2019

I stayed one night in this cute Boutique hotel in Le Marais, Paris. My room on the 6th floor was charming. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. Gwen at the front desk was amazing. He is polite, attentive, professional and looks happy to share his knowledge of the city. Being greeted by this smiling professional was a real pleasure. I wish all hotels I stayed during my trip in France had the same kind of professionals at the front desk. Breakfast is good and worth the additional fee (10 euros I think) Before check out, I had a great conversation with the manager of this boutique hotel. I read bad reviews posted by other guests on this hotel. Seriously??? This hotel doesn’t have umbrellas (is it really a big deal in a 3 stars hotel?), Air Conditioning (Who wants to damage an old and nice building with such equipment in a city where heatwave eventually occurs every 10 years). Coffee is excellent and service is amazing and attentive. I would say that the only things they miss in this hotel are a nice statue of Jeanne d’Arc and USB outlets on the desk. I will come back… TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect family hotel

Aug 13th, 2019

Perfect hotel for our family of 4. There was a small lift up to our room on the top floor, where we had a 2room suite. First room with a queen bed and second room with 2 twin beds. Very clean and sound proof. The staff were fantastic! Very friendly and most helpful; giving us detailed directions on using the metro to get to where we wanted. Always smiling and happy to see us. Best location: near transit and sites. Many places to eat or grab a cafe and croissant. The Marais is my favourite arrondissement. The only thing that would make this more perfect would be air con. The fans were helpful, but we are spoiled Canadians, so not used to being so hot😉. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing staff and great location

Aug 1st, 2019

This hotel was absolutely amazing! All of the staff were super accommodating and friendly, they also all spoke english which was very useful as I barley speak any french. They were always willing to help find a place to eat or to arrange transport to any given place. The food was also really good, just I would recommend going outside of the hotel for breakfast. The location was amazing! The hotel is very close to a metro station and is surrounded by bakeries, restaurants and boutiques. It is within walking distance to the louvre as well as the notre dame. This is an excellent place to stay and i have no complaints. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing hotel in great location

Jul 20th, 2019

The hotel is extremely well located, in one of the most beautiful areas in Paris, right next to a metro station and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The continental breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Favorite hotel in Paris!

Jul 3rd, 2019

The is the only hotel where we will stay in Paris. Twenty-five years ago we stayed at the Hotel Jeanne d'Arc on a friend's recommendation, and we've stayed there several times since. We love this charming hotel! Since we first stayed there, it's been remodeled and is attractively modernized. The room we had this time was very clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful with scheduling an early shuttle to the airport and getting boarding passes. The breakfast in a charming room has excellent coffee and a wide selection of items. The location is excellent. We love the Marais -- fine restaurants, shopping, narrow streets with the buzz of Parisian life. We walked to Notre Dame (we're in our 70s), and the Ile de Cite, and a Metro stop is an short 2-block walk. The next time we come to Paris there will be no doubt: here is where we'll stay!
