Sleepless Nights

Jan 22nd, 2020

The pillows and beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. My partner and I even contemplated moving our departure flight to a day earlier, because we could not sleep at all. Hotel was clean......and the staff was friendly. I will say it did not live up the the Hyatt name with regards to service. There were a few instances where I felt like I was in a budget hotel. For example, when I asked where I can get coffee, and the front desk looked confused. Or, when I asked where I can eat in the area, and they suggested Jimmy Johns. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was my first time in Atlanta and the staff was very friendly and informative, they told us how to get to some of the hot spots close by. The room was nice and clean. The kitchen and bar staff were great. Chef Geno's dishes were beyond delicious. Michelle, Jennifer, Laura and Monique were so nice and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and i will definitely be going back there when i visit Atlanta again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect location and amazing customer service

Jan 3rd, 2020

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. We absolutely LOVE everything about it. The check-in staff is so friendly and knowledgable about the area. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The hotel itself is lovely and in the perfect location. It is walking distance from TONS of amazing places to eat, a $5 uber ride to the botanical gardens or downtown. We will definitely be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If you stay here, you are paying for the location, not the Hyatt standard

Jan 2nd, 2020

We stayed here on NYE because it is located within walking distance of the Fox Theater. We would NEVER stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone we know. The room was so HOT we couldn't sleep! We turned the thermostat down, but it made no difference. Additionally, they only provided us with 4 very tiny (half-sized) pillows. We asked for more pillows and they said they could only provide us with two more half-sized pillows. It's been two days since we stayed there and I still have a crick in my neck. I've never heard of a hotel that rationed it's pillows! We spoke to the front desk about these issues and they woman working (Christina, i believe?) did not care at all. This hotel doesn't have to worry about repeat customers because of their fabulous location. If you just want a convenient place to stay, the location is great. But, if you are expecting the Hyatt standard, I would choose another hotel, as this location is a long way away from the typical Hyatt. Finally, there is a Hotel Indigo about 5 blocks away that is closer to the fox and also will give you all the pillows and customer service that your heart desires. We would stay there next time! In a central location for Midtown

Dec 31st, 2019

Stayed at this location for a quick solo trip to Atlanta. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and it's staff. Special shout out to Noel, who was very helpful in arranging my stay and linking two reservations I had made. The hotel itself is located in a central part of Midtown, near many restaurants. I didn't feel the need to bring a car to explore Midtown given everything is nearly within walking distance. The MARTA is close by as well, so airport transportation is not needed if you feel comfortable with public transit. That being said, I believe there is paid parking near the hotel, and if you plan to explore other parts of Atlanta, it's probably wise to bring a car. The hotel room was well designed and well kept and the 24 hr gym, while a bit bare, was serviceable. This location has a pool, which I did not use, but it appears to be at most 3 ft deep. There is a restaurant on site, but I really only ate there for breakfast once given that there are so many options for dining nearby. If I had to stay in Midtown again, I would definitely consider this hotel again in the future given it's cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, it's amenities, and its location.
