Nice comfortable stay

I like this place. It’s not super luxurious but gets the job done. It’s clean, staff is nice and the service is good. The rooms are light and welcoming. Only suggestion is they surpise return guest with an amenity for loyalty. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good value for a stay in San Francisco

Jul 2nd, 2020

The Hyatt Centric located at Fischerman's Wharf in SF is a good value : the rooms are ok, the price is ok (note that in SF hotels are expensive), the location is great, the hotel is very close to Pier 39 - walking distance from the GG Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, Presidio Park, North Beach, Russian Hill, Telegrah Hill, Union Square ... Terrible experience!!

Apr 7th, 2020

Had to cancel our stay due to Pets being allowed to stay here. My husband and son are highly allergic. As we booked through Hotel.com we were told by the manager of Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf that we would be given a refund but that Hotel.com needed to call them. We spent a few hours at the hotel trying to figure out how to get ahold of Hotel.com but could never get through. One month later and we have still been unable to get help from either. The customer on both ends are beyond terrible and I would caution anyone to book through Hotel.com. Very disappointed on our first family trip to San Francisco :( TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Slightly tired but perfectly good

The hotel itself is located in a pleasant area within walking distance of both Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf. There is a convenient Safeway just around the corner and an excellent cafe just across the road from the entrance for all your breakfast and lunch needs. The hotel is well kept but starting to show its age. They were just about to start renovating the in room entertainment when my stay finished, so that should be better for future visitors. Pricing is prime area San Francisco, so not cheap but seems on par with the other hotels in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Exemplary service!!

Mar 17th, 2020

Customer service went above and beyond to make us comfortable! We stayed during the coronavirus and Parell and wipes were available! We could not get in valet parking but they gave us discount tickets one block away. Instead of the need to rent bikes they had bikes for use on the premises. It was raining in the customer service rep offered us two umbrellas to use for the day. If we wanted anything specific to eat they knew exactly where to go. I would stay there every time I went to fisherman’s wharf TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
