It was okay

Aug 19th, 2019

Location was convenient for visiting centennial park, CNN, Civil and Human Rights Museum, Atlanta Zoo and downtown. I didn’t realized that you have to request housekeeping service while staying here and it’s a first for me because I stayed at other Hyatt House before and housekeeping service is always provided. HS Reunion

Aug 19th, 2019

As the planner of my 20 year high school reunion, I was tasked to find a hotel for our attendees to stay the weekend. I chose the Hyatt House after speaking with Janet and later worked closely with Natalia. Natalia was amazing and very easy to work with. She gave me a tour prior to our event and the pool area with the grills was perfect for our group. The day of, Natalia was not available but Lekeisha was extremely helpful getting us checked in. The rooms were nice- although this is a fairly new hotel (I remember it being built!) there was more wear and tear than I expected, but the rooms were still very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable... water pressure great. All of the staff (cleaning, janitorial, bartenders) were great! The worst part was parking- not the staff themselves, just the situation. It was pricey and they parked SO many cars in that tiny lot that it took a lot of maneuvering and time to get your car back. Breakfast was decent- plenty of options. All in all, my group had a great time and I was very pleased with my decision to choose the Hyatt House as our reunion "home base". TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great staff, great hotel

Aug 17th, 2019

I had read all the reviews before choosing this hotel. It was super close to the State Farm arena, which is why we were needing a hotel for a concert there. The staff was amazing and super friendly to work with. Room was great. I didn’t have any problems at all and would definite stay here again. Yes valet parking is expensive but you gotta do what you gotta do. It was $34 for 24 hours. I would rather pay that though then have my car on the street or way down the road for cheaper. Convenient downtown location

Aug 14th, 2019

I have stayed in many Hyatt Place hotels and I thought this one would be similar- it was not (that's on me for making assumptions). The room was smaller than a Hyatt Place room- I thought we would be getting a couch with a pull out sofa but it was just a very small couch. Thankfully it was ok for my 11 year old to sleep on. The front desk staff was not particularly welcoming- they seemed a bit put off every time I stopped at the front desk to ask something. The valet staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool area is nice- great space to relax with nice views of the top of some of the city buildings- rare to find in a downtown hotel. The location is very convenient- walking distance to many attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, College Football Hall of Fame and Centennial Park. The breakfast was also very nice. Overall we had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt House. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
