A hot mess

My experience was a nightmare from beginning to end...I drove in for 13hrs arrived AFTER check in and my room was still not ready and a lady at the front was not helpful insisting I pay extra to upgrade or just wait which was a long wait...then I had to take all my luggage to my room I could not use the bell cart or service because there were people ahead of me (but I was there waiting before everyone) all staff was rude... bed was like sleeping on concrete and the a/c kept going out in my room.....don’t even get me started on the payment issues n parking...i just can not with this Hyatt...room service food was burnt...just a hot mess....I couldn’t wait to return home!!!!this is not what I expected from Hyatt TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Overall, a good stay

I was there for business purposes ... my room reserved with one queen was not ready so they put me in a double room and honored a discount upon my request. Room was clean and quiet! Location was very convenient for my purpose. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Overrated

Average hotel. Dangerous balconies. Overpriced Restaurant, took 2 hrs to service dinner. Bring a cover to stay warm. The hotel could use a upgrade in certain areas of the hotel. Hotel Staff was friendly and helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Underwhelming

Upon arrival we did not receive the room we had booked and paid for. We ended up in a small room with no working space which was a problem as we were there on business. The bathroom had dirty towels left from the previous occupants, the tub drain wouldn't stay open and the walls were moldy. The sheets were full of holes, everything was dusty, and the iron was covered in an unknown grime making it unusable. BUT! They gave us two free movie tickets to make up for these inadequacies. Sigh. The hotel is tired, loud, very busy and dirty. However, the service was excellent. The resturant (Sway) on the lobby level is good but doesn't offer much variety, especially you have to follow a special diet. It is very convenient America's Mart and walking distance to many bars and restaurants. We won't be staying again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We have had five huge errors in billing. We’ve had multiple conversations with the hotel and they are still unresolved.

We have had multiple errors that are still unresolved. I would recommend any other hotel in downtown ATL. This was the worst, by far, experience we’ve had at a major chain. I cannot express the frustrations in billing we’ve had. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
