A Great Second Home...

Jun 23rd, 2019

I have been staying at this property throughout the years and have experienced the various renovations. There are some things that have stayed constant – the gorgeous view of the Charles River, the magnificent Boston skyline, and the lights from the stadium in the distance. More importantly, the quality of the staff has always remained constant – they truly know how to take care of their guests. My most recent experience with the front desk staff/management was fantastic – great service, true consideration, and a heart-warming chat about other Hyatt properties that we have both experienced (e.g. Maui Andaz). As a Lifetime Globalist, I will be coming to this property again and again. It is a favorite of mine, and it truly feels like a second home. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hyatt Cambridge MA

Jun 23rd, 2019

The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. Hotel is located in a convenient place. We had no problem during our stay, but feel that if we had any concerns or issues they would have been addressed quickly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, feeling slightly outdated

Jun 23rd, 2019

Everything ok up to usual Hyatt standards, large room, great sleep quality, maybe feeling a bit outdated and needing some renovation especially in the bathroom. It is in a lovely location by the river in the suburns of Boston 5min drive from the convention center. I would go again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good location

Jun 21st, 2019

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The hotel seriously needs some renovation. Our room has a good view of the Charles river, but that is about it. When we opened the door, a bad smell greeted us. The room absolutely has no ventilation. The bathroom does not have vent for water vapor after the shower, and the bathroom door has open slits so the vapor does not stay in the bathroom. On top of that, the room, with two double beds, is very small so that does not help either. We had to leave the room door open for an hour every night to air out the bad smell. The hotel also needs to upgrade its computer system. We booked the hotel several months in advance of our stay, but we received emails telling us our booking had been cancelled when we were on our way to the hotel. What?! I certainly did not cancel the reservation. I spoke to several people (including the manager) at the hotel, but no one could tell me why I was receiving those cancellation emails. It was graduation time so you can imagine how worried I was when I received those cancellation emails. I was told that the hotel computer had somehow messed up. The hotel needs to upgrade its computer system quick. After all, it is 21st century. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel

I stayed here as part of a large group. It's very cool to wake up in the morning and see the rowing team out your window. Quiet location but a short drive from Fenway or the Commons. I enjoyed it and would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
