Business and family trip

Unfortunately cleaning and maintenance are a big lack...the breakfast is good however there is no variation, everyday is exactly the same (for those staying two weeks like me with family it’s definitely not good). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Business Meeting

My overall stay was amazing. The room was very nice and clean. however, the lobby area rugs were very dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned in a few weeks. The staff as amazing as well...... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Clean and comfortable

This is a very nice hotel. The facilities were kept immaculate and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Very friendly staff. I was there for a 3-day conference. The accommodations were very nice and the food was excellent. Very convenient to downtown shops. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ok but bring a thick jacket!

Jan 8th, 2020

The hotel overall is in a VERY nice location with easy walk to restaurants and shops. The first night I had to turn my heat up to 80 degrees for nearly two hours just to stop shivering and the meeting rooms were even colder. If we had the meetings outside even though it is winter we would’ve been warmer. The staff was not responsive because it took two days for the temperature to come anywhere near normal habitable temperatures. Breakfast at Roost restaurant in the hotel is very good. Try the stone ground grits. Staff overall may need a little more training on using their discretion. After having over 300 people for 3 nights in our group for a meeting I asked if I could get a little later check out because I had a late flight and initially was told a flat no - even though I offered to pay. They said they would be full and needed to turn over rooms. I understand but I have been to hotels before and had to wait before my room was ready, it would not have been the end of the world. It took our meeting organizer talking to someone else the next day to get me a couple extra hours and I paid for it. Thanks for listening to being more reasonable and understanding than the other folks were the day before. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
