Over Priced For What You Get

Jul 17th, 2019

I booked a balcony room which was priced at $500 a night and received one overlooking a driveway. We had just come from Edgewood Resort at South Lake Tahoe where we also booked a balcony room for $400 a night and had a nice view looking out at the pine trees. Edgewood is a beautiful new hotel located right on the lake with beautiful rooms, some of them overlooking Lake Tahoe, and with all the common areas overlooking the lake. Walk right down to the beach, or sit on the grass overlooking the beach. No need to walk across the road to a busy beach at The Hyatt. The Hyatt is an old resort and needs updating. Our room was nice, but looked like any other hotel room one would pay no more than $200 an night for, and an old bathroom with small bathtub/shower combination, where Edgewood had a gorgeous huge bathroom with giant walk in shower and separate spa bathtub. What a let down to see what we received for $100 a night more at the Hyatt than what we received at Edgewood. Absolutely no comparison with lake location, room, common area, pool, beach and restaurants! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Resort

Jul 17th, 2019

Beautiful resort! Excellent service. I was injured and the staff was extremely accommodating. They remembered who I was and checked in on me a lot. They have me bags of ice and took me all over the place in a golf cart so I wouldn’t have to walk to different things I had planned. It is pricey but if you can afford it, I would recommend it hands downs. It’s absolutely beautiful and you can’t beat the amazing views. I fell in love! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Resort but room was a bit noisy

Jul 17th, 2019

Great beach and restaurants. Jr. Suite is quite nice but a lot of noise through the connecting room doors. It would be great to have a balcony or even windows that look directly onto the lake. These are angled views and even though we had a room at the lake end of the building, no window looking directly out at the lake...missed opportunity. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We have never been on this side of Tahoe and we were not disappointed. Beautiful location. Amazing service . Food and drink were great. Lots of activities. The pool was clean with lots of seating. Rooms were private with a great view all around. We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Memories made at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort

Jul 16th, 2019

First of all the beauty of Incline Village at Lake Tahoe is so amazing that you can't believe it's real. The Hyatt is nestled in this awesome beautiful lake overlooking the mountains that some were still covered with snow in July! We went on the catamaran on our first day which is docked conveniently on the Pier in front of the Hyatt. Action water sports offer a variety of excursions...something for everyone. The concierge desk at the Hyatt is so accommodating and ready to book your excursions or restaurant appointments. The casino located in the Hyatt is so much fun and we were winners which is always great! They offer everything you need to enjoy a great time in the casino. The beach on the lake is amazing at the Hyatt and offer tons of lounge seating and umbrellas are complimentary which makes your experience so comfortable in July and necessary as the sun can get pretty strong during the day. But you walk right to the lake to cool down and it's amazing. We were on the Regency Club level and it was so amazing. Great food options all day during their service times and open for waters, snacks, etc all day. The room was great with views of the mountains and partial lake views. AMAZING. If you have not been to the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe I would put this on your list. It's so magical and memorable you won't regret it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
