Overview

Live piano performances in the adjacent Casablanca Lounge every night
Daily resort fee
The Ingleside Inn is a lasting vestige of the "old" Palm Springs. Built in the 1920s and once frequented by the likes of Frank Sinatra and Clark Gable, this Spanish-style resort is close to the casinos and restaurants of the downtown area. You shouldn't expect the trendy decor and state-of-the-art facilities of some of the area's newer hotels, but for many visitors, that's just part of Ingleside's charm. Convenient amenities – such as free Wi-Fi access and parking – are included in the nightly rate and the inn's daily $30 resort fee. Spend your days lounging by the pool, and then, for a taste of old Hollywood glamour, grab dinner or some drinks at Melvyn's. Round out your evening with a few hours at the hopping Casablanca Lounge.

Little survives of the Palm Springs that Frank Sinatra and Peter Lawford lorded over like kings. For a cigar-scented whiff of those times, stop into the faux?Greco-Roman lounge of Melvyn's at Ingleside Inn. The bartender knows how to make a real martini, and the classic sounds of Tommy Dorsey are always on the hi-fi.
