Really lovely visit

Jul 14th, 2019

Our four night stay was wonderful. Exactly the getaway we were looking for. After an arduous trip from Atlanta, Georgia via delay at Madrid International, we were exhausted. The first greeting by the staff while checking in was a cold welcome beverage. As we sat at check-in, the staff made us feel more like welcomed guests than paying customers. Hotel is ideally situated for walking along the beach promenade to the Casino or Cascais. The property is of a newer modern theme and immaculate. The rooms were private and nice size with all the amenities, from robes to expresso machine. We enjoyed the special surprise bathroom lighting that featured a rainbow spotlight in the shower. The bathroom was oversized, and ours had a tub. Showers were 10 out of 10, including a shower wand and ceiling shower head. Morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean was heaven. Breakfast was tasty and a nice variety. Would highly recommend this property and stay again on our next visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

InternContienetal Estoril, Portugal

Jul 2nd, 2019

This was truly the best hotel I have ever stayed at. We had a lovely two room suite with balconies and views of the ocean. And full water bottles everyday in the room. The closet actually had enough hangers to hang all my clothes. That was a first. The staff were just the best! Always smiling and asking about our outings. It was just great! My birthday was coming up in a few days but we were not going to be there and Trang Dang got together to make me a birthday card to take with me. I will be going back next year for sure! Excellent hotel in Estoril/Cascais - highly recommended

Jun 27th, 2019

This is a really nice hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. From the moment of our arrival we were made truly welcome and we were made to feel special - by every staff member we encountered - reception, porters, waiters, housekeeping. Everyone also spoke excellent English. The hotel is modern and stylish. It is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Cascais along a beachside boardwalk. There is also a train station (Monte Estoril) next to the hotel with frequent trains to Cascais and Lisbon. Our room was very spacious, clean with a great terrace overlooking the sea. We slept really well in the comfortable bed. The bathroom was very well equipped and well-maintained. Breakfast was a delight. The buffet is extensive with a good selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, egg dishes to order, freshly squeezed orange juice etc. The staff are really attentive, professional, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay at the Estoril Intercontinental again if in Estoril or Cascais. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Seaside Perfection

Jun 24th, 2019

We ended our family European vacation at the Intercontinental in Estoril-Cascais. We were a party of 8 which included a 12 year old, a recent high school graduate and an almost 80 yr old grandpa. The Intercontinental did a great job making everyone feel comfortable and pampered. We arrived around 8pm and Federico took the 12 yr old on a mini tour while we checked in. The front desk staff kept everyone calm when my husband discovered that his father’s medications were left in the taxi van. Miraculously, the taxi driver noticed and returned the bag, but more importantly, the front desk was proactively reaching out to the various companies. Then we ended up enjoying some tapas in the lounge. The food was superb and the staff were so helpful with wine and beer suggestions. Our rooms were clean and quiet. The 12 yr old was super psyched about the “disco” lights in the bathroom. Breakfast each morning was delightful. While the summer season was just beginning us New Englanders enjoyed the pool for a little bit each afternoon. The pool staff had some great recommendations on restaurants for us too. The fact that the hotel is adjacent to the promenade that runs between Estoril and Cascais is a bonus not to be overlooked. Some of us started our day with a run on the promenade while a couple of us enjoyed massages at the spa (thank you Sophia). There were definitely some sad faces when we had to leave. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
