Thank You for the Hospitality!!

I arrived at this JW Marriott property and was surprised by the amazing kindness and hospitality the hotel has shown me! The front desk agent (Arbe) made sure all of my requests were taken care of and even gave me an upgrade on my room! I must have seemed pretty tired because she even sent up a care card so that I know that the JW team would be happy to assist if I needed anything further. I very much appreciate the thoughtfulness :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Luxury, thou art Marriott

My wife and I began our visit to Indianapolis at the JW Marriott, one of the city's most luxurious hotels and a go-to destination for out-of-towners and conventioneers. Located at 10 South West Street in downtown Indianapolis, it is a posh 33-story, four-star hotel with 980 rooms and 25 suites that is convenient to the convention center, Lucas Oil Stadium, Eiteljorg Museum, Circle Center Mall and Indiana State Museum. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the city. It also features a first-class restaurant, sports bar, lounge, fitness center, concierge, 24-hour room service, valet dry cleaning, gift shop, internet access, swimming pool, valet and on-site parking, even a shoeshine stand. We chose a Corner King guest room with 479 square feet, a king-size bed, writing desk, chair and ottoman, bath and shower, 40-inch flatscreen TV, coffee maker, in-room safe, iron and ironing board and unparalleled views of the downtown area and surroundings, including White River State Park, Lucas Oil Stadium and Victory Field. The JW Marriott is a great way to begin a visit to Indianapolis. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This hotel is draped in luxury. This has everything you need to make you feel like a special guest. It’s conveniently located near the convention center with me to have easy access to a lot of the downtown featured areas. But why are you there you stand outside and look at it in amazement because it’s a beautiful location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Construction in the whole area of the convention. Extremely strong odor from construction, all day!!! Bathrooms closed, then they would switch which bathrooms were open. Elevators closed at the only access to lower level of convention rooms. Pool closed. Very dissatisfied with the whole visit, especially for how expensive it was. Definitely won’t return. Under Construction/WiFi Jail

The hotel room was dated however they were doing renovations in the ballroom areas so I’m assuming the hotel rooms will be next. The pool was closed for renovation. The smells while walking down the hallways gave me a headache. The furniture in our room was damaged in areas and old. The shower faucet leaked on the floor and had no water pressure. The thing that bothered me the most was my internet on my phone, iPad, laptop worked perfectly everywhere in the hotel until we were in our room or in friends rooms. We connected to the hotels WiFi to relieve this problem however it didn’t fix it. There was an option to pay for upgraded internet not the internet you receive for being a member however I wasn’t going to pay more. Overall, I just wasn’t impressed. Next time I will stay and communicate from a different hotel if the venue I’m attending is in this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
