Amazing hotel!

This hotel was so incredible, the service was exceptional, especially Angel Flores by the pool! The pools and views are so beautiful! The rooms are also very nice with everything you need including great espresso in the morning. The staff was all extremely accommodating, I hope to be back in the future! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Incredible service, beautiful property!

Jan 27th, 2020

Winter getaway from the snow in Breckenridge, Colorado. Gorgeous facility, multiple pools lovely rooms. A couple of standouts for us: - Front desk/check-in: Abraham took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Always there to help and to offer tips on local activities, restaurants, etc. - Restaurant/poolside service: Miguel is da man! Again, so friendly and helpful. A true customer service professional. As nice as the resort is, make sure you get into downtown San Jose, it's absolutely charming. Also, don't miss the whale watching tour. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best resort in Cabo for rest and relaxation

Jan 26th, 2020

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay at the JW Marriott Los Cabos. My husband and I had the privilege of attending the 2020 Relish Heritage Food and Music Festival. I have stayed in Cabo over 20 times and this was my first stay at this resort but it will not be my last. The property is very vast. Because of the size you feel like there aren't many guests. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The amenities in the room were pleantiful and useful. I especially enjoyed the bath salts. We had the opportunity to use the spa onsite and it was clean and relaxing. My spa attendant Brenda was especially helpful. There is a very nice gym on site. One morning we had a Yoga class on the beach. The best thing about this property is the level of service and attention to detail. The staff went out of the way to help any way they could. I asked an employee coming down the hall where the ice machine was and he took my ice bucket and filled it up at the ice machine and brought it back to me. I asked one of the people at the front desk where a restaurant was and she walked with me all the way to the restaurant 5 minutes away. Each member of the staff I encountered was friendly and courteous. I believe great hotel leadership starts at the top. I do not think you can do any better than the Hotel Manager Miguel. He spent time with us throughout our stay making sure we were taken care of. By the end of our 3 night stay I would say we were friends. He embodies a true leader and has a great passion for hotel service. The chefs went out of the way to make sure you enjoyed their food. We even had the pleasure of meeting chef Thierry Blouet. We have traveled all over the world and have never stayed at a resort that tried so hard to please their guests. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An Over the Top Experience !

Jan 26th, 2020

We reserved th JW Marriott in Cabo San Lucas to be part of their Heritage Food and Wine Festival. We expected the experience to be very good, but never imagined the amazing experiences, outstanding service and memorable stay this would be. From the seamless pick up and transfer from the airport to the hotel. To the dinner for a small group hosted by the hotel General Manager with a beautiful sunset in the background and the innumerable number of local dishes and spirits. Included in the 3 day Gastronomic Extravaganza was an outdoor concert with a known jazz/samba band in Mexico and a tasting dinner of dishes from the Baja and Yucatan Peninsula. To top everything off was wine tasting session by their outdoor amphitheater with a classical quartet ensemble from the Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra. This was followed by a sit down 7 course/wine paired dinner at the Cafe D'Artistes restaurant which was a personally hosted by Chef Thierry, owner of the famous Cafe D'Artistes restaurants. Each night we returned to our suite there was a new surprise waiting for us, whether, a Bottle of Mezcal, hand made artisan granola with matching coffee cups, a Bottle of Mexican Gin amongst the nightly surprises. All this was complemented by amazing grounds, a beautiful corner suite overlooking the ocean, a fabulous Spa and a staff that was continuously attentive to our every need or desire. All in all one of our best destination experiences we have had in many years. Highly recommend this hotel. Miguel the General Manager, Daniella our "camp counselor" who was attentive to everything about our stay, Tadeo one of the wait staff at the UA restaurant and pools, Antonio in the spa, making sure everything was in order for our experience, Jorge the massage therapist, just to name a few of the overall outstanding staff. Will definitely return ! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Memorable stay for Anniversary

Jan 25th, 2020

The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff made sure we had a wonderful experience. Everyone there is so kind and friendly. They surprised us with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary and a lovely note from Julio B, the Marriott Ambassador. We were upgraded to an ocean view room, which we appreciated so much. We were welcomed and checked in by Moroni, professional, friendly and made us feel at home. The food from any of their restaurants is delicious, best quality and beautifully presented. From sushi, grill, pool bar snacks (jalapeño Margarita, the best! thanks Abraham and Daniel! and Cafe des Artistes, finest dining in town with an impressive Mexican-French fusion menu. Wonderful cava and a piano player. We were surprised (again!) with an elaborated, beautiful sugar sculpted dessert dish as a congratulatory gesture. So nice. The many pools are amazing, heated or cold, salted or the hot tubs, you choose. We cannot wait to come back!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
