Girls Trip!

This hotel is fantastic! The JW Marriott Marco Island has so much to offer for all types of travelers. The hotel is very family friendly but also has an adult only hotel with an adult only roof top restaurant. They have 2 huge pools, multiple fine dining restaurants, casual beachside restaurants, an arcade, bowling alley, resort wear shops and an amazing state of the art spa. If your looking for a beach resort that has everything you need look no further! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic welcome to Florida

Here for a conference, and quite impressed with the hotel and staff. I was not expecting the level for hospitality we experienced, the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, and numerous local shops within walking distance. We rented bicycles as well, which I’d highly recommend for cruising around the area. Great experience! Captain Tom is amazing and Helen at the beach hut, is accommodating and friendly. We did the 9am trip it was perfect, girls learn a lot, we enjoyed the views. Money well spent, I would give it a high recommend if you have kids from 4-60 we have a 10 and 11 year old and it was the highlight of our vacation. I can’t say enough about Tom, Helen and the rest of the Marriott staff. Great opportunity to see wildlife. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

OUTSTANDING! Can’t wait to return!

Jan 11th, 2020

What a wonderful resort, not just a hotel! From the time we arrived in the festive, holiday-decorated lobby and had the pleasure of being serviced by Danny in concierge, to our check out 7 nights later, it was paradise. I can’t say enough about Danny... his knowledgeable and friendly get-to-know-you style throughout the week made us feel especially welcomed, even as first time guests. Bellmen and valet parking were also right there to greet and assist us which were especially appreciated after our drive from Miami. Upon arrival, I felt the JW was similar in scope to an all-inclusive but you weren’t paying for food/beverage you didn’t consume. And you were earning or using Marriott points for your stay along the way! Recognizing it was the week of New Years, the hotel was at full capacity. We spent our days at the beach, sharing our (reasonable addl fee in our opinion) cabana with our family friends relaxing and enjoying the perfect weather that week. We felt like it was our own private beach! (There was the the usual pool chair challenge, though with 3 pools including one with a decent water slide, it appeared to be manageable.) Even without a cabana, out on the beach there were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas available along with helpful beach staff to get you set up. Nightly at sunset, there was a special fire-throwing entertainer on the beach open to all. Dining options were plentiful, though we didn’t get to them all. Natalia took great care of our families in the Maia breakfast buffet or menu-ordered dining that we enjoyed a few days. It was on the pricey side but on par with resorts of this caliber. We also ordered lunch from the Quinn’s beach staff, however we discovered the Quinn’s food truck on the beach was quicker. Favorites from Quinn’s included their burgers or grouper sandwiches and yummy fries, along with tasty chicken tenders. We loved Pazzi’s Italian for lunch too-delicious brick oven style pizza! The sushi restaurant was always full and festive in the evenings but my group aren’t sushi eaters. We spent a few post-dinner nights in the very happening 10-Alley ‘Dave and Buster style’ arcade, bar and restaurant. Excellent variety of games and virtual reality, variety of drinks, tasty milkshakes and tater tots, plus lots of tvs to catch every sporting event that was on. During bowl week we didn’t miss any of the football action. The resort had plenty of additional “included” activity for holiday time. Beach volleyball organized tournaments, sandcastle contests, NYE hats and horns too. We heard the previous week didn’t have ideal weather but they set up oversized games like “connect 4” in the conference rooms to help entertain kids. There was also a temporary “build-a-bear” for an extra fee. The fitness center was great for a hotel, limited wait for an elliptical, but plenty of other equipment instead. And we were rewarded with fresh fruit, which included perfect bananas, for our extra holiday exercise efforts :). The only area that wasn’t ‘perfect’ was housekeeping. Our rooms were well made up but it often took longer than expected. The staff was lovely and probably just needed a few more hands during this full house week. Overall without a doubt, this was definitely somewhere I and my family would return in a heartbeat. Marco Island is my family’s speed. If only the JW could control the weather! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
