Explore the ENTIRE resort!

Dec 5th, 2019

Amazing customer service from everyone we met especially the intern Jan D who made our stay extra special! We were suppose to stay in Sedona but with the severe winter storm warning, we booked this last minute on Marriott's website for Thanksgiving night. We arrived after 10pm and had two spacious well appointed rooms facing each other. In the morning we learned we had different views from our balconies, one had the swimming pools, the other had the desert and golf course. My husband and son said the gym was tops among the dozens of hotels we have stayed. Despite cool temps of mid 50s, some folks were enjoying the heated pools and lazy river. Since we had to head out to Sedona/Grand Canyon, we did a quick tour around the resort and only wished we had more time there as there were lots of activities available for all ages. Note: that even if you have to check out, you can leave your luggage with the bell captain and still use the resort facilities before a late flight. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Everything was PERFECT

Dec 2nd, 2019

I stayed at this resort for two nights, as part of an awards ceremony from my employer. Everything about the property was excellent. It is a large resort, and beautifully landscaped, Just walking around the grounds is fabulous. The rooms are large and extremely well furnished. Hallways are wide and nicely lit. Bathrooms are LARGE with separate tub and shower. Mini refrigerator and Kurig coffee makers in the rooms. Excellent wifi and TV options. The exercise and spa area is AMAZING. DO NOT miss it! There are multiple pools - including one accessible only to the spa - and one with a lazy river. The outdoor areas remind me of the Marriott in Maui - same decor and tropical feel. The entire property is perfectly maintained and scrupulously clean. We had a catered dinner as part of the event, and the decorations in the ball room were over the top beautiful. I have nothing bad to say about this property. I wish we could have stayed longer! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

great resort stay

Dec 2nd, 2019

we stayed for the final 3 nites of a 10 day trip that was pretty active. so we wanted a place to relax and not need to leave the facilities. well this was the right call!. we spent two days at the spa ( had some spa services!) and relaxed at the pool there at the spa-which was great and is for adults only-which I appreciated. we had great weather though a bit cooler than anticipated. we enjoyed the 3 main restaurants and the bistro at the spa. the rooms were nice and beds comfortable and there seemed to be plenty of staff on hand for questions/directions ( its a big place!). we left fully relaxed! Great family hotel

Dec 2nd, 2019

We stayed at this hotel in the summer. My kids (8 & 10) loved the lazy river and main pool. We were always able to find a place to sit at the pool and there is a reasonable amount of shade. My only complaint about the pool area is that there seemed to be a shortage of staff at the pool and guests didn’t clean up after themselves. By the end of the day there pool area was a mess. The rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. There is a mall less than a mile from the hotel that we visited a lot to get out of the heat! I would go back to this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Relaxing Stay and loved the Griffin Club

Nov 26th, 2019

This was our first stay here and it was just for a relaxing break before the holidays. The hotel was great! Spacious rooms, a balcony for reading a book, and wonderful service from the staff. The pools were awesome including the lazy river. What really stood out for us was the Griffin Club. It was one of our best experiences ever. Far above a typical executive lounge. It included breakfast with a chef to prepare omelettes, a lunch buffet, hosted top shelf liquor and wine, and an evening happy hour with a specialty item from the chef. Great service. If you are staying here it’s worth the extra money! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
