I had stayed here before for a meeting - and when my husband had business in Tucson I insisted we stay here - so that I could have a wonderful, relaxing week while he was busy. We arrived Sunday 10/26 and checked in very hungry after a long travel day --- only to find the bar open for food and as vegetarians - only a salad?? Our room appeared "clean" - but there were flip flop shoes in the closet and beer bottle caps on the floor by the TV credenza. The next day we were wanting to eat a hot breakfast, only to find nothing ---- nothing was open despite the video signage saying restaurants were open daily --- Signature Grill was advertised as open daily, but we were told only Friday & Saturday nights. Was told pool side restaurant was open - but never saw anyone there. The JW Market was open sometimes --- but was limited to a grilled cheese sandwich..... On top of the expensive room rate, you get charged a DAILY $23 resort fee ---- but when you had to pay extra to use the bikes, spa services, etc--- I guess the $23 was for sitting out on a terrace - or by the pool? On Tuesday we were in the room and heard water running somewhere and gurgling in our bathroom only to find crud backed up into our bathtub....... While we were planning to stay thru this coming Sunday 11/1, we had a situation come up and needed to go home, so my husband finished his business early and we left Thursday morning. With COVID surging in Tucson I was hoping for a relaxing experience with little need to leave the resort ----- but when there was nothing to eat but a "salad"........ It was a relief to leave. Beautiful desert getaway!

This is a beautiful property tucked away in the SW part of Tucson, where you'll feel very "away from it all" but also very close to amenities if needed. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and clean, and they are very committed to good Covid communications (signs, distancing and masks). The pools were great for adults and kids alike, and there are fun games to play around the pool area. Due to Covid, some of the bars and restaurants were not open, but this was expected. Had a great week with my family there, and highly recommend this hotel! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Perfect, relaxing weekend in Tucson

This is my second time at this property, and it's such a great find. It's so conveniently located (just 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown Tucson), hiking trails are right across the street, and the pool amenities are fantastic! It was a slightly different experience being there now during COVID, but I was happy to see everyone wearing masks indoors and saw several employees walking around to disinfect surfaces. Overall, it's a lovely resort where you can enjoy the pool during the hot Arizona days and then relax by one of the fireplaces in the evenings. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Excellent With Qualifications

Very nice resort with great views and friendly staff. Our room (4340) was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the pool and mountain. Fairly standard layout with a desk, shower and tub. The pool layout is great including a free water slide for kids. Two things worth noting are that not all of the restaurants are open (Covid related). The second is that the location is way out of town - this is either a positive or a negative depending on your plans. If you are thinking of hopping into town for a fast bite, plan on at least a 30 minute drive. But if you want to be away from the city noise and smells, this is the place for you. Corona paranoia all over

The room is fine and pool is alright. They won't waive the resort fee even though limited services. The on site food options are poor so I ordered delivery with GrubHub. Get rid of the resort fee and mask requirement and I'll be more willing to return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
