Just a Little Push Would Make This a "5"!
Dec 30th, 2019
Negatives: hole in the wall (someone get angry?), cracked sink, clogged sink, A/C unit (set only on low fan) just stopped running in the middle of the night, freezer does not freeze (two bottles of water left in overnight were just cold)! Positives: quiet, nice "view", close access (walking) to restaurant), close drive to other stores and restaurants, close to Interstate and main highway, nice room (besides as listed above), clean, very nice hot breakfast (not spectacular, but nice), friendly staff both evening and morning, reasonable rate. Clean, good hot complimentary breakfast, comfortable bed.

Good place to stay, not expensive and clean, newer carpet and paint, comfortable bed, big chair for TV viewing instead of on the bed, desk and WiFi, and good hot complimentary breakfast. Convenient to town and restaurants. Recommended. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
What - NO HBO!?!?
May 21st, 2019
The clerk did not offer an elevator to take luggage upstairs so if we had been truly handicapped, we would nave been in a mess. the TV/Cable needs to be updated or fixed, NO HBO and volume on some channels did not work Other than that, the room's cleanliness and toiletry & coffee stock was good. Appalling Customer Service
May 19th, 2019
Last summer (July 2018) I booked a room at the Quality Inn, Greensboro, Georgia for the nights of 8, 9 and 10 April 2019, so that I could attend the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, with a very good friend of mine. Needless to say, we were both extremely excited at the prospect of visiting one of Golf’s iconic tournaments in person. I paid for the three nights in advance and had confirmation. Imagine my surprise when I checked my Credit Card statement in December and noted a refund of the amount I had paid. On checking my Choice Hotel account, I found that the booking had been cancelled. This came as a complete surprise to me as I had no intention of wanting to cancel the stay or trip. I phoned and emailed the hotel on at least three occasions over the next day or two and asked that the Manager/Reservations contact me urgently (I was told that the person who I needed to speak to was unavailable). I received no response from her. I then contacted the Customer Relations Department and spoke to a very helpful lady (in Portugal). She spent several days, phone calls and emails in resolving the problem. The reservation was reinstated, but we could still not get any reason or apology for the cancellation. Indeed, the Greensboro Quality Inn manager’s response to Customer relations (which I saw) was quite abrupt and she did not contact me at all. I then decided to keep a close eye on the reservation and checked it regularly over the following weeks. Imagine my shock when just three days before I was due in Greensboro, I checked my account and found the reservation had been cancelled again. This was quite late on the Friday evening before I was due in Greensboro on the Monday, and I called the U.S. Reservations Department (this seemed to be the only section open) and spent 15 minutes trying to get the girl I spoke with to understand the problem. She was unable/incapable of being able to help at all. I was absolutely livid and had only a couple of days to sort this out. I wrote to the U.S. Guest Relations and the lady I had dealt with some 4 months earlier, but with the weekend ahead I knew I was unlikely to get a response until Monday; the day I was due in Greensboro. I decided that contacting the hotel would be pointless and so I spent several hours, the next day, finding alternate accommodation. As you can imagine with the tournament due to start in two days this proved frustrating and very time consuming. I eventually found a room that was suitable but on the outskirts of Atlanta (a further 70 miles away from Augusta than Greensboro). This would mean me and my friend having to allow an extra hour and a half … each way… for our journey on the day we were to attend the golf. I received a very apologetic email from the lady in Portugal Customer Relations where she said that the manager (Greensboro) could give no reason for the cancellation and wouldn’t reinstate it again as the hotel was fully booked. One incident like this is unfortunate, the same thing happening twice is unforgiveable. This is particularly the case with the complete lack of regard and service by the Greensboro Quality Inn Manager. Customer Relations told me she had been asked to send me an explanation and apology for what had happened. This was a dismissive 5-line note. I had several communications with the US Guest Relations and got replies from several different people. I asked a number of times for an explanation as to how my reservation kept being cancelled, (I had my thoughts about it) and was offered points or a miserable $40 to forget about the complaint. I have waited several weeks before posting this as I wanted to give Choice Inns; The Quality Inn, Greeensboro; US Guest Relations and the manager the chance to contact me but have received nothing. I will never book any Choice Inn in the future and I would advise anyone booking accommodation well in advance, (to gain a better rate for major events) to watch their booking very carefully. Not clean worn down
May 11th, 2019
Felt filthy, The highway just outside. Noisy. You could here all the other guests. Room wasn’t that clean. Bed was nice though. Staons all over the place. Breakfast typical nothing special. Rates too high the quality given. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
