Unique to the area

This hotel is so clean and the staff is super nice. Breakfast is out of this world too. Also the area could not be more ideal for going to dinner or having some drinks. It is also in the middle of all the museums and theaters. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic hotel for price. Rooms large with all amenities including fridge, cook top, plates, etc. Fantastic comp breakfast, hot and cold with chef doing custom omelets. Great food and bars in Armory Square, all within 1-2 blocks. Beautiful, clean, safe area. Will be staying here again next time in Syracuse. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was mine & my husbands second visit to the Jefferson Clinton and it was just as awesome as our first. The staff is very helpful & friendly. The room we had was once again an upgrade to a suite, thank you Marlynda Walker for another great visit .. This was my dad’s first visit and he was impressed with his room and the service we received. We will definitely be back when we come visit our son. Oh, we were referred to Francesca's Cucina on N Salina street for dinner, it was excellent! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Smaller hotel with personal attention

We just spent three nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the service attentive. The suite came with a kitchenette which we didn't use, and wasn't equipped for anything beyond eating prepared food anyway. I had a few minor complaints: it was impossible to get really cold water out of the tap; the closets could use more hangers, and the mirrored closet doors are difficult to open and close, but these are minor issues. Helpful folks and a nice room

We were going to a show at the Landmark Theatre (just in the next block from the hotel). Not far from the Oncenter, either. Turns out you can get a discount for rooms with Landmark tickets, nice surprise. The hotel is wedged onto a corner downtown - if you can park in the little lot around back, go for it, the tiny pull-off out front is, well, tiny. They have valet parking from the pull-off, at a bigger lot about a block away. Everyone we dealt with - desk staff, omelet maker for the included breakfast, even the maintenance guy we talked to in the elevator - were really really nice and helpful. The room was fairly spacious, with an actual kitchenette, even a 2-burner stove and full refrigerator. If I had a criticism, it's that the lights are a bit weird, with the switch by the door turning on the kitchen lights around the corner. That is really the only negative I can come up with for the place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
