Very nice hotel, close to home!

Stayed here w/friends from out of town. Lovely hotel, very clean and convenient! Very nice staff as well and eager to accommodate! The only thing I missed was TCM, (Turner Classic Movies), cable TV channel in their TV lineup - well, sometimes we can't have everything! All else was great including a free wine Happy Hour with appetizers, very welcoming - cheers! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hotel pplicies not friendly towards Hilton Diamonds or heavy business travellers.

Feb 15th, 2020

Having just arrived at the Juniper, I'm writing this review from the lobby. Arriving at 10am, tired, lots of luggage and this hotel wants to charge $25 for early checkin. I asked as a Diamond if they could waive the fee, the answer was no. Despite a room being available they just didn't want to make my stay any friendlier or easier. Out of principle, I declined the fee, and in the future will seek out Marriott properties where I can check-in anytime as a top Platinum. For serious roadwarriors, with lots of meetings, flights at odd hours, this property being in the heart of Silicon Valley might want to be more helpful to its heaviest travellers. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this property and the first time I am writing a review on it. Updated Edit: It's Saturday, finally checked in the afternoon, asked about booking any meeting room that has a screen in it where I can hookup a laptop and collaborate with a business partner. Apparently front desk would NOT let me do this, because the meeting rooms are governed by the event mgmt sales team who are not at work during the weekends. So here I am in the middle of Silicon Valley, supposedly the top hotel in Cupertino, right beside Seagate, Apple etc and I am not able to access a meeting room.... even as a Diamond Elite. I have to predict waay in advance (I didn't even book my flight to this city till 6hrs in advance, and the hotel upon landing) all the working amenities and facilities, meeting schedules etc... Also not given an upgrade despite rooms being available. It's a hotel management and policy issue. No matter what the reply is, the policy is unfriendly, unhelpful to heavy travelling customers. Unless you are only going to have a standard experience here, or need this location, do not book. The good: The staff are friendly and fine except when you need "exceptions" The hardware is comfortable enough for Cupertino standards, but showing wear. I stay an average of 200 nights a year in hotels all over the world. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Friendly

Feb 11th, 2020

The staff was exceptionally cordial. Maids, front desk, wait staff were all courteous and friendly. Parking was great with a handicapped sticker that let us park right near the entrance. Check in and out went smoothly. We didn’t make it to the free wine tasting. ( Bummer.) Breakfast was quite good; dinner was just okay. I would have preferred a rubber bath mat or support bar in the shower to keep my wonky knee stable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice boutique style hotel but with misses

Feb 2nd, 2020

The hotel has ample covered parking. Nice. The lobby is small but attractive. The rooms are very nice in a funky decor. The bathroom is comfortable and not minute. As Diamond, we only get a $10 credit per person for breakfast. The continental was one pastry and fruit plus coffee for $10. Very thin. Slow too. Not good. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect for what it is

I have frequented the juniper hotel in Cupertino multiple times while in business trips. It is in a great location (walking distance to Target, restaurants, Starbucks, etc.) has nice amenities and is very clean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
