Had a wonderful stay.

Very nice hotel will very friendly staff. We hired a car at the airport for £60.00 for a week so we could explore the island. Chania old town is worth a visit. Hotel is only 40 minutes drive from the airport and an easy trip. Nice indoor pool - very nice beach. Food was more than acceptable considering we were in COVID-19. Just don't get a room over the main entrance frontage as the view is not that great and they lack privacy. The rooms with a mountain view are more than acceptable. Would highly recommend staying there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Terrible all inclusive hotel

I will start with the good and positive things about this hotel: they have a good fitness room to use, and a really nice view from the hotel. The rooms are also nice with good beds. Nothing to say here. Only thing I can say is that it is strange that there is no shampoo in the rooms?? In a 5-star hotel??? And the wall are VERY thin!!! If you are going as a family and thinking that you don’t want to cook or go out to eat dinner, then really expect to have the worst food experience. Never have I seen worse buffet. Me and my friend had to FORCE the food from the buffet in us - it is disgusting and TASTELESS food. You can get fries and wet vegetables. Or how about some scrambled eggs that are obviously made 5-7 hours ago from a box - and it is falling apart. Also you have to know that it will take about 2 hours to eat breakfast, because you have to stand in 3 lines for this. First for the drinks, then for the buffet and then for the “toast”. This is how it was. And I’m sure that it is “easy” for a family with all inclusive - but this is just not worth it to eat. We were hungry all the time. Then you can get a “pancake” in the afternoon in the bar - the problem is that there is a 45 min line for this. :/ We are never going back. Never. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

After having a rubbish year and thats not including covid! I booked this holiday for me and my boyfriend to have a relaxing week before the end of the season. We were a bit apprehensive as in the UK we didnt feel that safe going out and about but I had read a number of reviews from people going abroad and saying how safe they felt. So we thought we'd take a chance and booked this last minute. We're so glad we did!! The flight over was quiet, chania airport was quiet and the transfer to the hotel didnt take long. Couldn't fault the hotel either. All the staff wore face masks and the I noticed the cleaners wore gloves too. The cleaners cleaned the rooms and changed the towels every other day. The hotel was cleaned throughout and they cleaned the sunbeds daily With regards to the all inclusive the staff (wearing masks and gloves) served the guests which stops the handling of the utensils. The queue for the food did get long at times but this went down very quickly with the amount of staff serving. Tables were cleaned as soon as they were vacated and drinks were also served by the staff again with a queuing system in place. I cant praise the staff enough for how hard they worked in the restaurant. The only thing I wouldve preferred is for the guests to perhaps wear masks when going up to get the food as well. We only went to the beach bar and again excellent service from the bar staff and a queuing system in place for drinks throughout both the day and evening. The evening entertainment was really good a variety of bands, bingo, quizzes and karaoke. The pools did get busy late morning but not enough that you had to get up and reserve a bed at all Was happy with all the food and drinks within the all inclusive package There was entertainment during the day. We enjoyed doing the aerobics in the sea! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kiani Beach and would stay again and so glad we took the risk and had an amazing holiday Again many thanks to all the staff here that made us feel safe TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Relaxing family break

Despite booking our holiday prior to the global pandemic, we were lucky enough to be able to visit Crete this year, in between travel restrictions being lifted and then re-imposed - with a week spent at this great resort. The location is great - being only 30 minutes drive from Chania airport, which in turn means only a short drive out to other nearby favourites like the Botanical Gardens or Chania old town. In addition, you’re within a 25 minute walk to Kalyves town, which has some great restaurants and bars. The hotel is very modern - and we were very generously given an upgrade to the VIP package, which allows you access to the premium drinks at the the bar. If you’re here with children, try and get an apartment s as you get an amazing mezzanine bedroom! Food is very tasty but breakfast can be a bit repetitive if you’re here for longer than a week I imagine. We were here during the high season so the pool was packed - but the sea was warm and suitable for swimming in. You also get to sea the RAF jets and RN & USN ships coming in! I heartily recommend this hotel - and many thanks to Pelagia for the upgrade, along with the extremely friendly Anastasia (at the pool bar) and Stella (at the restaurant) for making our stay memorable!
