Unique property with rotating art exhibits, individually appointed rooms and a bookstore that doubles as a bar and grill
A daily guest amenities fee applies for all stays here
Located about a mile north of Pioneer Square, Kimpton Alexis Hotel has eclectically decorated flair. Leather ottomans are paired with sleep wooden beds and green sofas, and not one of the 121 guest rooms and suites has the same layout thanks to the quirky contours of this old building. But what really makes the Alexis a standout is its rotating art exhibits, found in the lobby and gallery room. There are also a handful of specialty suites, like the Spa Suite, with a soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. No matter which accommodation you choose, you'll enjoy perks like yoga mats, bar carts, wireless Bluetooth speakers and Wi-Fi access (which the $22 daily guest amenities fee covers). Recent travelers loved this Kimpton property's convenient location, as well as its friendly service staff and adjoining bookshop, bar and grill, the Bookstore Bar & Café. Plus, guests can score extra amenities like minibar credits for being part of the IHG Rewards Club program.

Critic Reviews

This upscale boutique hotel, featuring 121 eclectic guestrooms that cater to every possible personality, is about as perfectly located as a downtown hotel can be. Many of Seattle’s most desirable sightseeing destinations are within easy walking distance, as are a vast selection of top-notch restaurants.

The two early-20th-century buildings, both on Seattle's historic register, have been combined to make this hotel. But the interior decor is anything but old-fashioned. Dark shades of taupe and brown are used as a background in the rooms, where paintings, ornate headboards, and one-of-a-kind accessories (like a desk lamp with a sculpted head as its base) add personality to the space.
