Friendly staff and clean rooms

Jan 15th, 2020

I stayed here for the location, it’s in bell town and very close to Nordstrom and the market. The room was spacious for one person. I loved the flat screen television in the easel. There are many amenities that you can get if you call (or text) to the front desk. I received a text soon after I arrived and was able to communicate that way. I thought the room would include bathrobes from the description on my 3rd party website but it did not. Security is strong with the elevator requiring a card swipe to get to your floor. The whole hotel is dark and moody, your room has mainly white walls but it’s still relatively dark, especially with Seattle winter days. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Road Trip

Jan 13th, 2020

there are at least four Kimptons in Seattle. We previously stayed at the Vintage and loved it and I’ve had good luck with Kimptons in other cities. The Palladian was a huge disappointment. Although the location by Pikes Market was good and the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating - hence the two stars- the small cramped feeling of the hotel was depressing. The lobby was too small to accommodate the happy hour (and was very cold and uncomfortable) and the decor was so dark and oppressive, it was a welcome relief to spend the next night in a bright airy hotel. also, while I understand people who love their dogs and travel with them, I think the carpet in the room smelled like dog. for those of us who don’t want to stay in a room previously occupied by dogs, it would be nice to have rooms that are certified pet free. First Time Seattle Visit

Jan 12th, 2020

My fiancé and I spent the weekend in Seattle at the Palladian Hotel by Kimpton. We were immediately welcomed by David. He made our visit extremely enjoyable. He went out of his way to make us feel important. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Exceeded 5 Star expectations

Dec 14th, 2019

We choose to stay at the Palladian because of its location, as we had never stayed at a Kimpton before. We expected to find a boutique hotel with a cool aesthetic and the nonchalant, disinterested service that seems to be in fashion at cool boutique hotels. We could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The service, the design, the quality, and the entire experience were beyond anything we expected. We first found short term parking adjacent to the building and we were immediately greeted by a staff member and cheerfully directed, along with our chocolate lab and chihuahua, to the front desk. The person who helped us with our room could not have been more attentive, helpful, or professional. We were using a gift card that we had been given for our wedding and it required her to refund our initial prepayment and begin a new transaction. I felt that we had created a hassle, but she was patient and friendly throughout. The decor of the lobby, the restaurant, the hallways....all around, was very cool, unique, and worked together to create a cohesive and interesting look. We mentioned that it felt like a movie set. After checking in, one staff member retrieved our luggage and showed us to our room while another staff member parked our car. The service from each continued to exceed 5 star expectations. Our room continued the display of quality. It was exceptionally clean, was modern but felt timeless, had everything that we needed, and the bed was incredible. We utilized the pillow menu and had two anti-snore pillows brought up that were more comfortable then our treasured pillows at home. They even brought up beds and dishes for our pups. We were in a rush to leave for the event that we came for, and my wife had left her makeup bag in the car. I called the front desk to see if we could access the car as our ride would be there in 10 minutes. Instead they asked us to describe the bag and it was delivered to our room in seven minutes. After a great night of sleep, we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and snacks and then visited the amazing hotel restaurant. We could have had room service, but we did not want to miss the opportunity to dine in the great atmosphere of the restaurant where we had noticed people enjoying meals the night before. After packing up, we called the front desk and within ten minutes another friendly staff member arrived at our room, loaded our luggage on a cart and then into our car that had magically appeared at the front curb, said a warm good bye to us and our pups, and moved to welcome new guests. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. We had several short conversations with various staff members throughout our stay and we felt like VIP's the entire time. This was somewhat surprising to us, a young couple traveling with two dogs and paying with a gift card. We have enjoyed stays at places who define their hotel brand by their customer service and we have never been better treated than at the Kimpton Palladian in Seattle. The environment, the rooms, the restaurant, the location and the staff all exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return. We recommend the Kimpton Palladian to anyone and everyone! Cute Beautique Hotel

Dec 12th, 2019

We've stayed at Kimpton's everywhere but Seattle, so decided to try one at home in Seattle. As excellent as all the others. Super cute, cozy with great service. Love the pictures of Seattle icons in the lobby and on a pillow in each room. Really fun, artistic and eclectic. Price was reasonable through, if you bring a car, expect $45 on your bill for overnight valet. Not unusual for Seattle. Bar upstairs is homey and the peanut shrimp to die for. The have this outer crunchy texture that is amazing and the spicy peanut sauce with some zesty peppers is something we'd love to reproduce at home. Complimentary coffee/juice in the morning and wine in the evening, which we didn't participate in but was nice touch. Overall highly recommended and you can't beat the location if you want easy access to Westlake Center and Pike Place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
