Good Pool

Feb 18th, 2020

The pool Supervisor, Taylor, was excellent made sure everyone got their seats timely and had towels when they needed while watching out for people’s safety especially the children. I trusted her with my items and she kept everything safe. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great time

Feb 18th, 2020

The hotel is awesome and I had a great time with my friends by the pool playing all kinds of games with lovely Emma. The bar is chill with nice music and amazing cocktails. Can't really ask for more :)) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay!

Had an amazing time at this hotel. Beach access, amazing pool, fantastic amenities. My husband and I were looking for some nightlife and restaurant recommendations and Dean and Kurt at the pool were super helpful. Thanks for the great time! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location and staff with below average rooms

Feb 18th, 2020

There are a lot of great things about this hotel. The location is perfect, and you can walk to all the amazing shops and restaurants the area has to offer. The pool, yard and restaurant area out back are beautiful and well staffed. The very good coffee bar in the am and wine hour in the afternoon are great touches. Everyone on their staff is very pleasant and didn't encounter anyone who wasn't over the course of our four day stay. The reason I only gave it 3 stars though are because of some issues. First of all, the rooms are tiny! I had my two teenagers with me, and the two double bed room was too small for the 3 of us. Also, the walls are paper thin. We apparently lucked out and didn't have a neighbor the first 3 nights because once we did, we could literally hear their conversation. The bathroom is also small and poorly laid out. To dry your hair, the cord has to drape across the toilet?! And, for the price we paid, I would not expect the tub and mirror to be really chipped and worn. Also, it seems like the cleaning dept is understaffed. 3 of the 4 days, our room was not cleaned until almost five, and that took several requests to even get it done then. Not their fault, but there is an extremely loud, party hotel next door that blares their music so loud that it can be overwhelming, even at the Kimpton pool. The activities that they advertise as part of the resort fee are very sparse. And, the only day a craft activity was scheduled during our stay, they cancelled it. Finally, the beach area where the included chairs are is pretty crowded and smoky. The beach is very nice, as is walking on Ocean Drive, but the chairs are all placed very close together and pretty far from the water. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great poolside. Special thanks to Taylor. She was gracious and fantastic, making sure all were having a blast. Other staff also nice. Amazing weather, fun vibe, and good times were had by all. Esp recommended post holiday buzz. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
