Sitting in central Sedona, Arizona, less than a mile north of the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, the L'Auberge de Sedona Resort & Spa offers guests a peaceful getaway without sacrificing an in-town location. Recent visitors praised the resort's relaxed setting along the banks of Oak Creek and describe the lodge's guest rooms – complete with contemporary furnishings and high-tech amenities – as cozy. The resort also contains individual cabins with private porches or patios, as well as fireplaces for those who need a little extra room. No matter which type of accommodation you choose, you'll be treated to luxurious Italian linens, Illy coffee makers, complimentary high-speed internet access and L'OCCITANE bath products. Travelers also give kudos to L'Auberge's customer service, saying that everyone – from the spa therapists to the waiters at the Cress on Oak Creek restaurant – was extremely friendly. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the property's indoor/outdoor wine bar either. Just beware that everything here, from the parking fee to the service charge, is quite expensive.

Travel + Leisure

Cozy English country-inspired inn and cottages in a wooded, creekside setting that is a refreshing change from the desert, but still within easy reach of the red rocks.

The original creekside rooms, with wood-burning fireplaces, are decorated in lush country-European style, and the contemporary units on the hill have large decks and private open-air showers.

Condé Nast Traveler

The idyllic creekside location can be experienced in every part of guests’ stays, from fine-dining at new restaurant Cress on Oak Creek, to visits to the L’Apothecary spa, where guests can make their own body products using the property’s signature Oak Creek essence.
