Worth it

My new wife and I decided to splurge and stay in a nice hotel in Sedona. We further splurged by staying in the Vista Cottage. It was so amazing! We had beautiful views all day and were very comfortable in our amazing room. The outdoor shower was great. The food from Crest was delicious, and the staff was very attentive. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This resort is amazing! Jorge from valet was so attentive and friendly and really made me feel welcome from the get go. Tony had exceptional bar service and made the dinner nice. Very beautiful resort with amazing staff. If your getting married I highly recommend choosing this location! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic Destination!!

Kudos to management - this place is well managed. Came with my date for a long weekend mid-August and stayed in one of the Cottages. The staff is very attentive. Standouts were Steven in the Valet Department, and Seven Kid Joe the Bartender. Joe makes the best dirty martinis west of the Mississippi!! Massages by Staci and Michael also deserve mention. While the stay was most enjoyable and worth a second trip, the mattress in Cottage 81 was extremely uncomfortable. All in all, still worth a 5 star review. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A real scam!

Sep 21st, 2020

We had 3 nights booked at Usd 778,- per night, however upon arrival at around 5 o’clock we were brought to a room in the “cottage” which resembled past glory, towels were stained and overwashed, room refrigerator was empty and no bottled water in room, then we went for dinner and because of COVID measures we had to line up to order, similar to what you do in a cheap fastfood restaurant, after having ordered the attendant wanted to seat us in an old sofa without table, after claiming that it wasn’t suitable to have dinner they started to look for other options, which of I will spare you the details, we changed to roomservice, the 99 dollar meal consisted of an overcooked dry 3 ounce chicken fillet, excellent french fries, rucula salad and a small brochette, same day we had our booking canceled and next morning we ordered bellboy who never arrived and had to take our luggage for a 5 minute walk to the car! When billed we were charged 27 usd additional for carparking and Usd 82 resortfee????? Still donot know why the resortfee, our experience was more like a stay in a cheap road side motel, however at a rate of USD 1076,- per night without breakfast!!! I think there are many other options in Sedona with a much better price-quality ratio! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Impressive even with covid restrictions

Sep 20th, 2020

Went here for a little local trip when our Europe trip got canceled due to covid. The hotel is lovely and beautiful. I really wanted a view of the red rocks so we got a vista view, which was nice overall, but you still get a lot of view of the pool and parking lot. We spent a lot of time lying outside under the shade, so this started to irritate us a bit eventually. Since many amenities were closed, we surely didn't get the full experience, but we still felt the experience was overpriced (no surprise given the location). We enjoyed walking to pick up food nearby. There are also shops within walking distance and you can stroll along the creek for a change of pace. It was really nice to not have to drive anywhere most of our trip. The absolute best part was the view from the bathtub. The changes with covid felt very safe. Room service dropped off without much contact. The room was extremely clean. All the staff wore masks and enforced distancing (and were all extremely helpful and nice). So, even with those changes we still felt it was still a trip worth taking. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
