What a great place

Mar 20th, 2020

I would recommend this place to everybody . Amazing location , price is fair and room is amazing . I really like what they did with an old building and transform it to a Hotel . With stone wall and brick wall in the room make it very classic and give a touch of class . Parking is little busy but the valet will take care of it . No hesitation i would stay there again . Very easy to get and everything is close , food , gas , grocery , transit and walking distance to tour the Old Quebec . TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Suites in the old bank - excellent as was Louise restaurant

Feb 26th, 2020

My family (small kids) and I stayed for just one night after a ski trip north, and it was beyond our expectations. We try to stay in 5 star when traveling abroad or sometimes unique places and I would not call this 5 star, but a solid 4 star hotel. Beautiful rooms in the old bank they took over, with a nice combo of charm and updates. Well appointed rooms with great view of the old homes and Frontenac. I read 1 star reviews and find all of them to be ridiculous. People were great. Louise restaurant was fantastic, and snow removal complaints? Really? It's Quebec. Highly recommend (and we stayed at Les Lofts St. Pierre for a week, which was better for the longer stay but not as nicely appointed). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful stay, great location!

Feb 25th, 2020

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Port-Royal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was just lovely, and the restaurant Louise was top-notch. Opening the door to our room was a WOW moment. The exposed brick and stone walls, sparkling wood floors, huge windows and soft lighting make for an extremely attractive place to call home. Jazz music playing in the background as we entered was a nice touch. It’s a short atmospheric walk to the Place Royale, Le Petit Champlain, and many antique shops and small restaurants. Our rate included a very good breakfast buffet in Louise, where the servers were cheerful and service was brisk. Will stay again if the opportunity presents itself! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel

Feb 19th, 2020

Stay 3 nights during winter carnival 2020, great hotel. Wife and I don't mind walking so this hotel was great for us. In a quiet area of the port and about 15 to 20 minute walk up to the chateau. The room has great. Loved the little kitchenette and it was great having a refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker in the room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fabulous hotel!

This hotel is phenomenal. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and the staff were so fantastic, we felt incredibly spoiled. The room itself is beautiful and has a full kitchen and is walking distance to everything you need/want! I couldn’t have been happier with my stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
