Cleanliness of room

Apr 10th, 2020

Room smell lingered throughout building. Smell of smoke and soap like it was trying to cover up something. Pillows were not thoroughly clean and had multiple strands of long hair, maybe from previous stay. Sheets didn't smell clean, though it looked clean but didn't smell fresh. Carpet was a little used up and could need replace. This La Quinta would definitely be the bottom of my list. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Old hotel needing updating

Mar 29th, 2020

The only good thing about this hotel is that it offers long term parking and shuttle service to the airport. The room I had was not clean, it had a toilet that ran and self flushed all night. The Air conditioner was groaning all night and the refrigerator was making some type of clicking or some type of noise all night. It was difficult to get any sleep. The next morning the food service person had burned her hand while pouring the sausage and gravy into the warmer, therefore she ran the gravy over her hand into the warming container, she didn't have anything else out for the people to eat, and there was no backup staff to help do this. Most comfortable beds

Mar 16th, 2020

This hotel had the most comfortable mattress that I have slept on in a long time. The pillows were also very nice. There was a spacious bathroom and the room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointed

Mar 11th, 2020

The room's need a serious up grade for the money you're spending, The staff was great, but that doesn't make up for the money you're spending, I could of stayed at Motel 6 and paid a lot less and the room condition could of been better TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

WAAAAAY overpriced for the quality

Mar 9th, 2020

My 2 friends and I stayed here over the weekend (Fri-Sun) to attend some Spring Training games. We knew prices would increase during this time. However, for a little over $200/night, I would expect something better than Howard Johnson or Best Western. Room was super small, and despite it being a non smoking hotel, it definitely had that old smoke smell. They managed to fit a full tub and shower and commode in the bathroom, but just barely. The room was cleaned, but there is only so much that can cover age and dinginess. The beds were comfy (queens), it had a fridge and microwave, and "free" breakfast (the usual: cereals, different breads and spreads, fruit, juice, coffee). Nice little shaded court yard with plenty of seats. I will say that the best part of the stay was the service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we witnessed this several times throughout the weekend. Overall, the hotel was okay. If the price per night was in the $120-150 range, at best, then I would think that all is fair and you get what you pay for, but at these prices, that was not the case. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
