Mediocrity at its finest.

Stayed here for three nights and this place had the worst WI fi of any hotel I ever stayed at, complained to the front desk several times and the best they could offer was to reset the router and say that they were almost full, so this must be the problem. The wi fi did finally work one night for about ten minutes, and that was it. Also the phone did not work, again front desk did not seem to care. Of course there was no breakfast, pool, or exercise room operating. Too bad if you want maid service, no can do. Room was noisey, with dogs barking, housekeeping decided to vacuum right outside of the room at 8 am, atrium echoes noise like crazy. Hard to find anything to really recommend this place as good or better than average. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Make your own bed

My husband had reservations at the Courtyard in Lubbock and reviews online for this La Quinta appeared great for a bit less in price so I convinced him to change his reservations. When he checked in at 10pm, much after his room should have been ready, he walked into a room with no sheets on the bed, then after calling downstairs was handed sheets for he and my daughter to make up themselves because "they just didnt have time to do it themselves. REALLY? Is $150 a night not enough to have sheets on your bed? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

disappointing

not cleaned well. not enough help. long line to check in. not a lot of attention to details. trash at ice machine overflowing. it is attractive and looked relatively new but it was not we expected. this is really stupid rule that the review has to be 200 words. complete waste of time. Decent, price good ac

But thats about it, phone does not work, tv would not go past 40%, no toilet paper, hairs left in tub , odd smell, no breakfast, Up side check out at 12:00, plenty of room in the double, just not clean to my standards and thats a biggie for me. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointed

I'm a Wyndham Member and I've stayed at this location before (was happy with it) and had planned to stay here each visit to Lubbock to see my kiddo at TT. But, this last experience was so disappointing that I don't believe I'll be staying here again. The hotel website does not disclose that breakfast is not offered, room cleaning services are suspended and the pool and gym are closed. We understand these decisions were made due to COVID safety reasons. But, you should disclose this on your website so that customers are informed prior to booking a room and your prices should fairly reflect these lack of services ( I paid a high room rate). Also, I found hair in my bathtub, a loud toilet and a dirty bathroom door. If rooms will only be cleaned between guests then you must do a better job cleaning. How do you expect guests to believe you have their safety in mind when they walk into a room not properly cleaned. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
