Convenient downtown location

Choose this property to the location of hospitals, due to my scheduled surgery. My travel partner had plenty to do during the day around Portland. Clean property, nice reception staff. Quiet despite downtown location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Extremely Accommodating

Tracy was terrific. Great service, was efficient and helped with a great rate for the night. If I ever end up in Portland again,I will definitely use this hotel. Hopefully the staff all stays helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Did Not Enforce Covid Protocols

I stayed here over the weekend. During my visit I witnessed both housekeeping and several guests following the Covid restrictions. Despite having several signs telling everyone to wear a mask many guests were not wearing masks. Worst of all was the housekeeping staff and several members of the staff that did not wear a mask during my stay. There is a lot of signage all over the hotel telling people to follow the protocols. Yet, it does not seem to be enforced by any of the staff or the hotel as a whole. I would not recommend staying here if you care at all about following any Covid protocols within the state of Maine or the country as a whole. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Very nice

This hotel was not within walking distance to the Portland, Maine waterfront. However, it was an easy 7 min ride. We were pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness of the hotel. It had a very comfy king bed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Breakfast not included

The common areas and room was clean, front desk people nice. The negative part was the breakfast. When we booked the hotel, we were looking for a hotel with breakfast included and that's one of the reasons to choose this hotel. In our checking we also asked the front desk about it and his answer was yes we could pick up it between 8am 10am due to covid19 it would be served in a bag and our surprise was the so called breakfast was only a bottle of water, one small and sour apple and a mini-muffin, nothinng else except the 24hr coffee and tea station. Please don't put in the amenities breakfast if you are not serving it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
