The most friendly staff

Staff here is truly all so friendly! They were incredible when my family and I needed a hotel room late at night. We were originally at the Tacoma Dome Hotel where complications with our room forced us to change hotels late at night. I was pleasantly surprised that La Quinta was very close to the same price but with a much nicer facility and rooms. And MUCH friendlier staff than Tacoma Dome Hotel. Only complaint is there's no mini fridge and microwave in the rooms TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Poor customer service

I do not recommend staying at this property I booked a room at a discounted rate and they changed the rate at the time of arrival. The staff and GM were extremely rude. I went in a couple weeks before my Grand Daughters birthday sleepover we had planned at La Quinta to make sure this room was big enough and toget this gathering approved. When we arrived we had nothing but issues with the staff and they even told us we could leave after I paid someone to decorate the room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We'll Never stay here again

The staff was pretty rude when we checked in. Didn't know there would be NO housekeeping services for a 2 night stay until we arrived - but there was NO discount on the rate, which was pretty high to begin with. We killed several large spiders in our room!! As soon as we got home we realized we forgot a phone charger so immediately called to make arrangements for a family member to pick it up. 4 days, 4 calls later, they did not returned any of my calls as they said they would; the 4th call I was told the charger isn't in lost & found! So, either it was kept by housekeeping or it was thrown away - either way, we are not happy. Customer Service is non-existent at this location any more !! Know we won't be back to this location, more than likely won't return to LaQuinta. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

woah, what a change

Stayed at the newly remodeled hotel in June, 2020 and paid $72.10 a night for a king size bed. The hotel is experiencing security issues with the homeless population and locks the front door 18 hrs. / day. We had to bring our luggage into the hotel through a single side door using our room key. which was difficult to maneuver. Booked a room today for $98 before taxes for a room with two double beds which is a lower quality room than our June visit. The hotel is full of long term residents associated with the construction industry which has created an increase in prices and adds more wear and tear to the facility. Everything will show the effects of this decision and we are paying more because of the lack of availability while long term residents are probably paying less. Also had web site issues trying to book a king size room. Be careful or their system will just shorten your stay and you will have to spend a lot of time cancelling and rebooking. Make sure to check the right side of your reservation screen for the actually booking dates that the hotel is allowing. The centralized booking personnel were of little help, and i just surrendered and rebooked online paying more attention, and finally realized that the reason the system was shortening my stay was because of availability and went to the option for two double beds in the room. Best service

miss Kalayah not only have me the "Best Service" that I've ever encountered when signing in to a hotel, but even the patrons before me. She is professional, curtious, and very patient to who is in front of her. While complying to Covid standards. Well done Kalayah. I will revisit this hotel 🏨 on this principle alone.
