Home from home

We travel to California regularly and always, without fail stay here for at least part of our stay. We love the location and the staff are super helpful. The dining is great with a lovely breakfast selection and even meals around the outdoor fire pit is amazing. The selection of cocktails is perfect too! Very cosy bar area is a must at the end of the day. The gym is perfect for anyone too. The pool and sauna area is ideal for relaxing in the heat of the day. Love this place! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

They overcharged me

Mar 23rd, 2020

The receipt I received from the hotel was for $207.33. However, a few days later I checked my credit card charges and found the hotel had two charges, one for $232.33 and another for $100.00. I called the hotel but not only did no one anwer, there was no way to leave a message. So I emailed them. The only response I’ve gotten so far is an email to take a survey about my experience with the hotel. I took the survey and in the comments section noted my issue. Hey, hotel manager: call me to clear up the incorrect charges. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect spot for couples

Mar 17th, 2020

A great place to stay for a weekend away with the spouse. Awesome rooms with great beds, good location. Only a 6 minute walk to the “Hideout Kitchen” Starbucks and anything else you may need. Beautiful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nickel and Dime the Customer to the max.

Mar 16th, 2020

The hotel is nice with a vintage appeal. However, there is an additional charge for everything. Plastic fork, spoon $1, pot of hot water $2, cloth napkin .50, Ice $1, plastic cup .50. We paid over $600 for a 2 night stay and feel additional fees for the small items is ludicrous. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel for visitors...nice scene for locals

Mar 13th, 2020

This was not a first visit. We’ve often picked this spot for 'date night'. The bar has a great atmosphere, nice outside patio, ( it can be crowded at times) but we usually get a seat fairly quickly. Sitting at the bar and having a Friday night martini is a pleasure. The bar menu is really pretty good. If anything, it's the wait time, because the bar seems to be always short staffed. it’s still a nice Lafayette stop. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
