One of the worst ever

Sep 29th, 2019

I don't understand how this place has any ratings higher than 1 unless I got the only bad room in the whole place. I've stayed in a lot of cheap hotels and hostels and this is one of the worst. I don't need frills or fancy but it needs to be clean. Floor was dirty, lamps had busted lightbulbs, front door didnt close properly, beds were like laying on pure springs, the blankets and sheets had cigarette holes and were stained they didnt even look or smell washed, towels were stained, bathroom was absolutely filthy, light didnt work, loose toilet seat, shower was so dirty I just skipped a shower because I felt like I would get dirtier if I used it. It also appeared to be people living in the hotel, and we heard a drug deal going on outside our door at 3 am. Sketchy area and sketchy people everywhere. I'm glad it was only one night and we were barely in the room because I would have paid anything to stay elsewhere if it was any longer. The check in staff was friendly and the lobby was clean and remodeled, which was totally deceiving about what the rest of the hotel was like. I'm really not that picky but this one was BAD. Travelodge

Slept in my gym clothes because I was afraid I might catch something. The bathroom door did not close properly and the existing front door was deteriorating. The blankets had numerous cigarette butt wholes throughout, and there were no USB ports to charge your devices. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Spartan, but quite liveable and accessible

Sep 3rd, 2019

This is an old hotel, but the furnishings and fixtures have been modernized. Less than o e hundred dollars for one night. Complimentary breakfast was adequate, but had to be transported to one's room for consumption. Bed firm and comfortable. Rooms clean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice motel, underrated

Sep 1st, 2019

Very nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable room and bed and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Close to the Amish attractions. The ratings for this motel should be higher. We will definitely will stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

No frills, Economical lodging, Dog friendly

Aug 7th, 2019

This is a dated, older motel that would benefit from updating. Although our room was non-smoking, it still had that noticable old smoke smell and showed its age. That said, it was an economical, well located spot to spend the night. The staff was pleasant and efficient. They allow dogs for a modest fee, which was what we needed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
