Superb Hotel in Every Respect

My wife and I had a lovely room for one week in February. The staff was exceptionally attentive, courteous, and efficient. The breakfasts were delicious. The hotel manager was present and available to help in any way she could. This is definitely one of the finer boutique hotels of the world. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Perfect Boutique Hotel in Polanco District Mexico City
Mar 12th, 2020
It was our first time to visit Mexico City. This hotel is in Polanco District of Mexico City. It has lots of sidewalk cafes, high end stores and lovely parks and tree lined streets. The rooms were high tech where you could turn everything on or off from your night table. Great breakfast and service. I would definitely come back to this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We have been fortunate to stay at many of the world's finest hotels. The staff of Las Alcobas was among the best we have ever experienced. In a short time they all knew us personally, and catered to our every need. A truly remarkable set of professionals. The location of Las Alcobas is terrific. Great dining and shopping in every direction. Beautiful parks just steps away. We can't wait to go back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My husband and I came to Mexico City for the restaurants and bars so Las Alcobas was the perfect hotel location for us. We have also become fans of the Luxury Collection line of hotels and this hotel definitely met those high standards. Our room was great and with a large, comfortable bed with great linens. The shower was also awesome with Bvlgari toiletries. Snacks and non alcoholic drinks were complimentary. We enjoyed breakfast every morning at Anatol. A massage was included in our room rate. It was excellent and appreciated. Our Butler Bruno was very helpful. Our only issue with the hotel was communication issues with the concierge. A month before our stay I contacted the concierge to book transportation, tours and restaurant reservations. When we arrived, the concierge called us wanting to move our cooking class with a chef back 90 min because the markets open later on Sunday. He also informed us they were unable to secure permits for us for a special historical center tour on Tuesday but could do the regular historical center tour. We were OK with both of these changes but on Sunday we waited 20 min for the chef to arrive but got frustrated when the front desk and concierge on duty seemed to have no knowledge of the chef we were waiting for despite them arranging it. Considering the high cost we decided to cancel the class so we could get on with our day. Then on Monday, we got a call from the front desk saying a guide was waiting for us. It is unclear if this was the chef or the guide that was to come on Tuesday. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wonderful, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great location

Fantastic all around. One of the nicest, liveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. All the staff — front desk, concierge, bellmen and women (and oh yes, each room is assigned a “butler” to handle whatever) — were charming, friendly, welcoming, accommodating, just wonderful. Rooms are comfortable, beautifully appointed, smartly designed. And in the heart of Polanco, a hip and elegant and lively part of town, a few minutes’ walk from restaurants and bars you want to go to. We’ll absolutely be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
